This b&b is so cute. The rooms are all different and eclectic. The beds huge and oh so comfy! Everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was different everyday. The view from the roof was lovely. The location - perfect. Close to everything but just off the main drag so it was quiet. Rooms were clean. Wifi however was patchy in our... More

I was with a group of 3 motorcycle guys touring Mexico. Merrill, our leader, had stayed at Pita's previously and had it booked for us. I was very happy with my room, the breakfast, and everything about the place. We were there for two nights in February of 2015 if I remember right. Great view from the rooftop patio, good... More

Location is great. Very close to the action. Downside is that shower trickled only scalding hot water and, although initially charming, there are many opportunities to slip or hit your head on low ceiling and cramped rooms. Breakfast was mediocre with canned fruit and beans. Food is so reasonable I suggest saving your appetite and eating in one of the... More

Good location, very friendly staff. A pleasant breakfast is included. Comfortable rooms with enough hot water for showers. Not for anyone who cannot handle stairs, however. It is a bit up from the Plaza Baratillo.

One of the most charming budget hotels I've stayed in. Lovely Mexican tile work and furniture. My two story (!)room even had an armoire and an antique desk, chair and chest. Good bathroom and hot water. I thought the juice, real coffee and fruit + granola + yoghurt was breakfast, then came the hot course. Delicious, and beautifully served. Great... More

We enjoyed our four night stay at Casa De Pita. It was very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom and a king bed. The location is central with easy walking to the historic center. I should not say "easy" walking because no where in Guanajuanto's hilly central area is an easy walk. But, it is very charming. Pita is very hospitable.... More

This is a beautiful hostel ran by a very friendly woman. The location of the hostel is nearby some of the small plaza's in the city centre. It is found in some small streets, but it's easy to get there. The shared area of the hostel (where to owner also lives) is well kept, beautifully decorated and had an atmosphere... More

This colonial home-now-B&B is a great place to stay -- conveniently located, the decor is fabulous, breakfast hearty & delicious (plus sitting around the breakfast table is a nice way to meet other guests), roof terrace has amazing views, and Pita makes you feel like family. I had a perfect 3 night stay in my new Guanajuato home! :)

5 of us stayed at Casa de Pita during a summer trip to Guanjuato. Property -- The property itself is pretty amazing. It's a 300 + year old house that has been renovated quite extensively. There are modern conveniences throughout while still retaining old charm & regional architectural features. We stayed in two rooms and my favorite was Tapanco de... More
