Casa Estrella de la Valenciana

Casa Estrella de la Valenciana is a hillside Mexican bed and breakfast inn that overlooks the Valenciana mine. Every one of our unique bedrooms has a view of the city and its surrounding mountains. Nestled in the heart of the Central Mexican Highlands - Mexico's "Cradle of Independence," our location is perfect to enjoy the romantic city of Guanajuato, with its underground tunnels and beautiful plazas, as well as day trips to the nearby cities of San Miguel de Allende and Dolores Hidalgo.

This is a long overdue review of Casa Estrella: our home for 4 months last year. The home is gorgeous! Everything was well thought out to ensure a wonderful and very comfortable stay. We had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen, which was featured on the cover of a

Stayed here last year and loved it. So sad to receive an e-mail from the owners announcing they have decided to close the hotel effective May 31 this year. Hopefully someone will take it over because it is in a beautiful location overlooking the town.

An attractive location apart from the busy and noisy center place but taxis are honest and avaliable in G. A beautiful house with a mixture of local and Mexican furnishing. A smiling staff always ready to welcome your wishes. And Xavier a perfect majordorme able to give you very

Did you mean a modest pool, by which you mean small, and short? (not a "modes" pool) Is the main benefit to being a taxi ride away from the town center of Guanajuato that the Casa Estrella is quiet? Did you prefer Guanajuato to SM Allende? How would you split 6 days between the two. Leslie NYC
Hi leslie! The pool was small but not tiny, about 4x10 metres i would estimate. Casa estrella is really quiet yes. Plus from the location you have a great sight on the city centre. I think i still have some photos i could post. Both cities are great but i would recommend to spend more days in guanajuato over san miguel. If you have six days you could split it evenly: 3/3 or you could stay 4 over 2 in guanajuato. I would recommend taking a city tour. Joskua viajes could arrange something for you. They helped us magnificently :) good luck and enjoy!

Buenas noches ! Me interesa saber si tienes disponibilidad para el fin de semana del 14-16 octubre sería pasar la noche del viernes y sábado y saldríamos el domingo, 5 adultos, me podrías dar un presupuesto, de antemano gracias.
"they are all good, they all have everything you need and a great view"
"Anything we needed they took care of. Did not use a fitness area, so cannot elaborate on that point. Safe neighborhood - we walked a lot, and taxis were easily accessible as well. We stayed in quarters that were separated from the main part of the house. It was quiet. At night a nice breeze. Ceiling fans if needed, but we didn't need them. Jetted tub and shower in our bath was nice too. Luscious linens and very well appointed with art and artifacts from throughout Mexico. Satellite TV was nice when we wanted to watch an NBA playoff game. Lots of quarters so great for groups and they can cater - we will think about it in the future for a group getaway or wedding. The Inn is high on the hillside away from the city center so it is much quieter than downtown. They city is VERY loud with noise until late at night, and sometimes we could hear the music drift even up to the hill top at night - but it was pleasant. Down in the center of town I don't think we would have gotten much sleep."
"The San Bernades has two dressing areas and two queen beds, as well as a jacuzzi. Very quiet at night."
"We had the St B room with two beds and a private patio- just a super room with access to garden, fabulous views and direct access to the pool."
"Any room, just stay there"
