The charm of it being a castle is only appreciated from the outside. THE BEDS SUCK, HARD AS WOOD, couldn't sleep all night. The point of a decent hotel is to prioritize the matresses as hotels are mainly for sleeping somewhere!! The wifi was only working in the lobby and doesn't reach all the rooms. In this day and age??... More

We stayed for 2 nights in November. After checking in, we were escorted to our room only to find there were cockroaches. We moved to another room which didn't have a working safe, security lock on the door didn't work and the safety chain was attached by an "S" hook that could have been easily removed when the door was... Old Spanish castle turned hotel . Spectacular view ! Very basic and pretty run down. But still, an actual castle from the conquistadores era. Shower head was practically shprizing water everywhere. The iron I took from the reception was simply useless . No power outlets in the room! How are we supposed to charge our working tools? Cellphones and laptops.... More

Myself and a group of three friends stayed at one of their suites for three nights. The hotel is very clean and the price is average. However, we did have a problem with the main bathroom. Every time someone turned on the water the sewage smell would stink the whole living room area. And the furniture was literally falling apart.... More

The outside is amazing and definitely wants you to be in there. When you get to the room, it doesn't look so great anymore. Still, it was nice to be in there, the food was fine, the service not so great (the bell boy was sitting all along when we were checking in and he didn't look like he wanted... More

The place is beautiful, interesting, with a beautiful flowers and trees, very clean, wonderful views of the City of Guanajuato, and many secret places to explore. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We had some minor issues with the air conditioner, and the shower. The maintenance people fixed immediately. The restaurant has a very good food, and the... This was a very disappointing experience. The staff was rude, the food was sub-par, the room was so bland and uninspiring. The room was expensive so I had high expectations. The bathroom had 2 towels, no floor towel, a package of travel kleenex, shampoo and conditioner. There was no hotel info in the room ie: how to call the front... More

The staff really was challenged with full capacity to get everyone fed. The breakfast bar was par excellent, and everyone was having a great time. A bit overcrowded, but it was a good stay over. I wanted to go back and take my grandkids, they honor Cervantes.

You know that, when you have 2 princesses as daughters and the chance to sleep in a castle, you'll pick it. The place is nice. Your friends will envy your pictures and your children will be quite excited, until they get to they room and find out that the TV's cable is not working and that no one will fix... More

We stayed one night in this hotel. The outside looks really nice, however the rooms could use some renovation. Our room was clean and confortable, the air conditioner works really good, and the view from your room is amazing. There is no wifi in the rooms and you have to go to the front desk in order to get signal... More
