Staff are very courtesy and friendly. I still have one more night to stay in this sweet boutique hotel. Very modern design and near Historical scenic places. They help me book private tour to tequila tour and driver is very professional and responsible. Will recommend all my friends and rebook next time.
I highly recommend this hotel. Francisco was so helpful. He drove us to a car rental, did all the translation, helped negotiate a great price and refused any tip. Truly hospitable. The hotel itself was fantastic in every way. The in- house restaurant was excellent. The room was huge, pristine clean and full of first class ammenities, just like the name FCH (First class Hotel) implies. This was a real treat.
This is my third stay at FCH and this was the best one yet. The staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. David the concierge was ready to help you with your needs. The food in the restaurant is good though not included. Free parking is included. Don't forget this is an adults only hotel. Now as mentioned in another review I did, the walls are a bit thin and the hotel is designed with wood and tile flooring throughout ( which I like) and you tend to be able to hear everything. It's off the beaten path in a residential area so you may hear dogs barking and you will hear doors closing and people walking by, but the cleanliness of the entire hotel and the great staff more than make up for a bit of noise. I would recommend this place and plan on making it my go to place in Guadalajara.…
This is a great hotel especially for the price. the staff was amazing and the food is solid. The suites are nice and big. There is a fun little pool area. The staff are really accommodating and. great. I can't say enough about this place!
Got to the FCH hotel around 6 pm on Friday. Drove through a crazy storm and was on only 3 hrs sleep so I was looking forward to just relaxing and going to sleep early. No luck. Loud music was playing until 10 pm. I went to take a shower and there was no hot water. I called reception, they said it would be back on in 10 minutes and it never happened. My morning shower was with cold water. The hotel itself is very nice. Modern, clean and spacious.Once the loud music outside stopped I was able to get a good night sleep in a very comfortable bed. The stay came with a prepaid breakfast. The food was good and the girl handling the food area was very friendly. I left rested, full, just not too happy about the cold shower. I took care of my business and decided to go back to FCH. I arrived around 3 am so it was quiet. But again the walls are thin at this hotel and you hear everything, like the dog that wouldn't quick barking and the guests that came in after 3 am. In the morning the water was hot, so no cold shower Sunday. Bottom Line: Pros: The FCH in Guadalajara is a very nice looking place. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay, comfortable bed, bottled water, awesome shower, big screen TV and free parking. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Cons: The walls are thin and you hear everything. Sometimes there is no hot water.…
I tend to travel more than most and all too often I find that my expectations are not usually met, however with First Class Hotel- Epxo my expectations were met and exceeded. Upon check-in, the staff knew exactly who I was and had everything ready for me to sign and go straight to my room, check in was seamlessly easy. Upon entry into my room, I found everything to be just as pictured in all of the advertisements that I've seen. I only stayed two nights but found everything accommodating. Breakfast was just right, the ice cream was great and you are always sent off with a smile because everyone in the morning is always so energetic. I will definitely be returning soon. Tania, Antonio and Ignacio are always a pleasure.
The positive first: as is often the case in Mexico, the staff was incredibly nice and wanted to serve us well. They spoke English and clear enough Spanish for me to understand. The rooms and facility were clean. This is a concept hotel that was designed by local artists. There is easy day time parking in front of the hotel and the staff will store your car in a secure spot at night. Now the negative: our first floor room was terribly noisy, and not just typical noisy for Mexico. From our room, we could hear the noise from the restaurant, the lobby, the tv lounge, and the pol. The place is all done in white marble, so very prone to echo. Just not a great design. Maybe rooms in another part of the hotel would be better. The hotel is advertised as FCH Adults Only, but there was a kid in the pool and a baby that cried through the night and again at 6:00am. I don't at all mind having kids where I stay, but I think the hotel needs to at least follow its own rules, so guests know what to expect. We had no hot water the first day and poor internet throughout our stay. We couldn't get the tv to work (which was probably because of our lack of SkyTV knowledge) but there were no instructions. (At our hotel in Mexico City the next day, the staff showed us how to make the tv work and pointed to written instructions in case we needed help.) The closet light was rigged with a sensor and supposed to turn on whenever the closet door is opened. But there was a maids closet on the other side, so whenever someone opened that closet, our light came on. This meant that the closet light came on at random times all night long and lit our room up even when the slatted closet door was closed. With the noise from the lobby and lounge area, the crying baby, and the closet light going off and on all night, I had a hard time getting rest. The design elements look a little worn and in some cases, were too much -- especially the dramatic, multicolored lights shining onto the pool from the frames of the room windows. These jewel toned LEDS changed colors all night long giving the place a Las Vegas vibe that didn't really add to the design. The location is not ideal. We felt a bit on the outskirts of anywhere we could eat or would want to visit on foot.…
We had a wonderful experience. This was a very nice hotel. The room was very big, clean with comfortable bed and had both soft and hard pillows for your preference. The staff were all helpful and we really appreciated Carlos Lopez’s hospitality and his amazing service. He's the best of the best. We also asked him to recommend some of the restaurants in the area and he recommended very good restaurants. He also gave us discount coupons for the Brazilian steakhouse "Mr. Pampas". We enjoyed staying at this First Class Hotel Expo (Adult Only) near Plaza del Sol. The hotel was very clean and we were very satisfied and will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend this hotel
Small and quite, near to all amenities. I would definitely stay here again. Best experience at this city hotel. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I appreciate Mexican hospitality. The pool is well maintained and fun. Also has a bar nearby for frosty drinks.
We spend the long weekend during February to have some quiet and relaxed time. a) The pillows and mattress were too hard, so that didn't help for the aim. b) They have construction of the elevator during the whole weekend all day long. c) They had the pool was available until 21 hrs but they were some guest that were having a party until 1 am, and probably more, but we fall asleep. d) We had a problem with the hot tub and they weren't prepared for the incident, the water didn't ran, we suggest to add or put an instructions for it. e) They were too kind when we ordered: More towels, another coffee machine, a rack f) We had problems with the keys they didn't worked out well g) The TV was not straight h) The doors on the closet are from wood, kinda bad idea for a room that has lot of water i) The breakfast wasn't bad at all, but they ran out of strawberry marmalade during a long weekend! that is terrible! And they couldn't had the idea to go to get some to a store j) There were a day where the service was so slow! it took forever to have a cup of coffee k) They should be able to have 24 hrs service on the kitchen at leas for soda, water or something that is canned. l) The washing didn't had a plug to stop the water. They need to fix lot of things, but they surely are very kind and nice, and need more experience with this kind of simple situation.…
