My friend and I stayed here for a few days and loved it since we got there! Wish we would of had more time to enjoy their amenities. There was always someone available to answer questions at the door and reception desk with a smile! Yasmin, the concierge we met with was amazing at answering all our questions and looking up some events for us. She was amazing! We felt safe at all times and never hesitated to ask for anything. The rooms are spacious, clean, and at bight they turn the tv in with low low key music and leave some slippers next to the beds with sheets folded back and a couple chocolates. Nice touch! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I just got back from a 4 day weekend at this property. Let me preface this review by saying the hotel property itself and the staff were great! My issue is I booked a club king party room because in the description of the room it says that room gives you access to the grand club lounge which is on one of the top floors overlooking the city and offers complementary breakfast, cookies and beverages during the day and a variety of appetizers house wine and beer in the evening. I paid $150 per night for that room, a normal room with a king bed would’ve been $90 per night but I elected to Book the club king party room because of the access to the grand club lounge. Upon check-in the receptionist said the club lounge wasn’t open and I said that’s OK we’re tired, what time does it open? she responded that it has not been open for over two years!? She apologized and said she would throw in a couple of complementary breakfast buffet vouchers which are $18 each. So I spent an extra $180 for the king room that gives access to the lounge and in return I got a $36 breakfast voucher. Once again the property itself and the staff were great but I’m having a hard time getting the bait and switch taste out of my mouth. I highly suggest you save your money and just book the regular king room and not the club king party room because there is no advantage to it whatsoever. Management, if you’re listening, if the lounge has been closed for over two years then please update your website and don’t list that as a benefit for spending more on a room.

BE VERY WARY of staying here if you are a man and have female employees. I was harassed by the night staff after I had a female employee stop by around 10 PM to drop off some very important paperwork to me before an important meeting the next morning. the staff stopped us in the lobby and insisted I "register her an overnight guest" and charge me for another occupant. When I tried to explain that she was an employee, they actually chuckled , causing this young lady extreme embarrassment as others in the lobby were now listening to this ridiculous conversation. Once they realized what idiots they were being, they tried to explain off as "for my own safety" they had to register her... will NEVER stay at this place again and have addressed this with my company's HR department as we will no longer allow our employees to stay there

My wife and I are have been coming to Guadalajara for a few years, and when we stay at the Grand Fiesta, we are always on the look out for Jazmin the Concierge, because we know that she will always greet us with a smile and make feel at home. Jazmin guides us to some of the best places to visit in Guadalajara. Some times we stay with friends in Guadalajara, but we still find ourselves jumping in a Uber to see if she is working to find out what is happening in town our maybe even point us towards any new Restaurants. I have stayed at this hotel several times for business travel. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I do have a few complaints though.
Far too much room is taken up by the mini bar. Most of the refrigerator space, two full drawers, and a entire shelf are used by the mini bar. As a business travel, I never use any of the items and would much rather have the room to store my own items such as left overs. This is especially true with the refrigerator as there is barely room for me to put 4 bottles of water. (There is an oxxo and a 7-11 just a block away and I would much rather buy my water there as it is much cheaper.)
On two of my trips there have been short power outages due to storms. (One night the power turned on and off almost a dozen times.) When the power goes out the room thermostat loses its memory and turns off the room fan. (Regardless of the temperature you set, if the fan is not on the room does not cool.) This led to the room getting very hot and me waking to turn the AC and Fan on again many times in the night. It would be great if they could change the bios settings on the thermostat so the fan defaults to On instead of off.

From the moment you arrive, you will feel welcome and will be greeted with smiles and helpful staff… As you start walking in the lobby you will notice a clean and up-kept establishment. Very nice hotel to stay in Guadalajara. On the night of arrival, we arrived very late at our hotel, 11:30 p.m., and Thank God that room service was available, which was great because we were very hungry and had no energy to go out.
The breakfast brunch buffet is comprehensive of any egg style you desire, fresh pancakes or waffles, fruits, honey etc. and plenty of local cuisine meat options to choose for your morning brunch.
The room was very clean and serviced each day. On our floor, flavored water and fruits were offered every morning by the elevator.
There are a couple of extremely great restaurants that are nearby, within a two block walking distance.
I highly recommend that you use the hotel's trustworthy inhouse airport transportation services and book it prior to your departure to Guadalajara. When we arrived at the airport, there was a one hour wait for taxi services and I regretted not accepting the concierge services which were emailed to me a couple days prior to departure. You can secure the hotel's transportation services in advance to avoid that horrible wait.
On our last day, we had an early departure. The 3:30 a.m. wake up call was timely and I used the hotel's inhouse transportation. Our driver was timely at 4:00 a.m. so you can trust the services provided by Fiesta Americana.

My husband and I stayed for eight nights (again) at this wonderful hotel with comfortable and beautiful remodeled rooms, delicious food, very clean, excellent service and very safe. We don’t even consider other options when we visit Guadalajara with friends to attend the yearly golf tournament. Located in a beautiful area of Guadalajara, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shopping centers, banks, casino and movie theater. From the moment of our arrival we are always greeted by helpful employees who are attentive and will go over our expectations to make us feel like part of their family and not just a traveler. Great location close to Anderas Mall, to a large multifunctional park and lateral Park which was perfect for walking or jogging. Close by there are many restaurants offering a variety of foods and prices. It is a short distance from Zapopan historic Center and about a 25 minute drive to Guadalajara historic centre. If you prefer to travel by Metro there is a station a short 1 km. away. We had absolutely no concerns about the application of procedures established for Covid which all staff adhered to in a friendly manner. The concierge was efficient, thoughtful, very helpful gracious and friendly.
