Well actually I have been very disapointed about the hostel, I was struggeling if to go better to Hostel Tequila or that one, but the recommendations and Fotos were quiet good at Blue Pepper Hostal as well. So I think if you don´t want to go to a good hostel it could be ok. I have been around 10 days...

I stayed here when I first arrived in Guadalajara. Marcus was very helpful. Pretty nice, great location. No room to sit up in the bottom bunks though and rooms can feel a bit claustrophobic. Staff attentive and always available when needed.

2nd visit to Guadalajara and this time decided to have backpacker travel and wanted to check on budget travel experience . For mxn 250 pesos for single room , This is a good place to spend night . Even better if you go in group and book their dorms . Bathrooms are clean but one issue which needs attention ....

Me and my friend stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great time. Easy to meet people and enjoy the city, only a short walk into the center. The staff are also really friendly. Would definitely stay again. :)

Good to great place to stay for the money. i just needed a place to stay to sleep and wash up because my trip consisted of seeing the sights and visiting the municipalities of Guadalajara. locally the help desk was uniquely well associated with the town and helped me tremendously with the english_mexican language barrier. also was helped in getting...

I had a wonderful experience at both blue peppers but do prefer the down town location. I stayed previously at the Chapultapec Blue pepper for a few day and then after a trip to Puerto vallarta stayed in the down town hostel for a further 6 days. I originally choose the Chapultapec location based on the reviews but I actually...

I stayed here for nearly a week in December and I had a great time. Really friendly staff, a good atmosphere with both staff and other guests, and the café attached to it has lovely food. Plus, the location is great; it's in walking distance to all the main attractions in the city and the buses. Downsides: the dorms are...

One of the property managers helped me out by letting my client call me at 7:15am, on the hostel landline for our half hour conference call. That was a success for several days in a row. I appreciated that. The two best physical features for me of Hostal Blue Pepper Downtown is the sunny yet cool expanse that begins at...

Hostel Blue Pepper Downtown has a convenient location without being in the thick of things. The price is attractive but the common areas and the guest rooms are in need of a thorough cleaning and daily upkeep. Mold is rampant in the bathrooms. During the week I stayed there, there was no tap water for hours on end on two...

Overall this hostel is the best price in town and close to historic center however the dorm rooms are not that spacious and no natural light. Our dorm room was right by the tv and music playing late, however the private rooms seem farther away from the noise. No breakfast included, but there is a kitchen and seating area to...
