I cannot conjure a single negative about Hotel Morales. Exquisite room, delightful and helpful staff, immaculate accomodation, fabulous little restaurant and bar. Pool! Absolutely loved it. Loved Concierge Mario and took his picture to post but memory card failed!

It is difficult to judge this Hotel properly Nice old building from better times, staff doing their best to keep the place nice, Short distance from Centro Histórico. But a lot of rooms do not have a window. My room does have a balcony, but outside air was so polluted that I need use an a/c. But a/c was not only extremely noisy , it blows air like crazy. Not very comfortable stay. Definitely worth what I pay for the room, Breakfast was average one day, much less than average second day and they gave a very nice box to take to airport on day 3. Guadalajara, except from very beautiful Centro Histórico and small area , called Americana, is big, grey, polluted and very neglected town. I was there with a Gate1 tour.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The architecture was amazing and everything is in excellent order. Our room was okay but the window opened on to an internal courtyard so you couldn't open it or let in natural light. The pool on the roof was wonderful, even though building work was going on while we were there. The breakfast buffet was very good and we ate often in the restaurant which was very good value. Our waiter Daniel was wonderful, he spoke English and had a great sense of humour. He also made excellent cocktails!!! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the town and the door staff look after you, asking where you are going and giving advice.

Hotel Morales is a must see hotel if you're in Guadalajara. The Hotel has an amazing staff that was very accommodating. They got us a driver and checked us in after our plane had arrived late and we didn't get in until 1am. The bell hop took our bags up to our room and helped us understand everything the hotel and room offered. The amenities are great! They have a nice little restaurant with a daily brunch buffet and tasty dinner. Next to the restaurant is a nice relaxing room where you can watch tv or shoot some pool. Speaking of pool, there's an open air pool on the 3rd floor! It's a shallow pool which makes it perfect for relaxing in the sun while having a cool beverage. Next to the pool was a gym and spa. Though small, it was a nice addition to get in a quick little workout. Even if you don't stay there, be sure to stop in to have a bite, drink, or check out the beautiful architecture.
