When I look for the perfect hotel, I always like to find accommodation that balances authentic local charm with modern and comfortable amenities. LA FE Hotel and Arts does this perfectly. It's set in a gorgeous 1930’s mansion that has been converted into a 7 room boutique hotel. Almost all of the colorful tiles in the hotel are original and... More

I really enjoyed my stay. The weather was perfect, the area is really entertaining, the hotel is very cozy and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, the prices are very cheap compared to the other hotels in the area.

From the time we arrived until the time we left we absolutely loved our stay at LA FE. For $50 per night it would be hard to beat this place. No car needed with so many nice places to walk and relax. We passed through the city initially planning just 1 night but decided to stay for 3. The weather... More

The hotel is in a great neighborhood, very safe and full of great restaurants, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The staff is very very helpful, they are very knowledgeable of the area and the city. The room was perfect, we stayed in the suite Orozco and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was ok, the cookies were amazing we even... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and ppl who work there are amazing. The breakfast is really simple and full of sugar. But there was really good fruit and whole wheat bread which is nice. Unfortunately every time we took a shower the whole room was filled with stream and became really humid that the sheets absorbed it and we... More

Thanks Suzee, we sincerely appreciate your business and feedback. We have 1 room that due to the construction of the house, there is little we can do regarding humidity. Sometimes in these classic buildings you just can't make the changes you'd like and still retain the character. That said, we did make a nice window in that room that opens... More

We traveled to Guadalajara with our puppy, and La Fe was one of the few hotels that is pet friendly. I read the reviews, and they seemed mixed, but as we were only staying there for the weekend we gave it a shot. We are so happy we did! The staff is great! Communication prior to arriving was superb! It's... More

This hotel is in a great general location and is very reasonably priced...and that is about the only good thing you can say about it. Although the photos look rather good on the website the actual hotel is very run down, dirty furniture in the lounge, stained bedspreads and cheap sheets, towels literally tearing apart, rooms generally shabby feeling. And... More

Though the towels were a bit frayed and rooms could use some deep cleaning this is a great hotel because of it's location and friendly and helpful staff. If your willing to climb the narrow spiral staircase choose Mt favorite room, the second floor suite. It has a nice sitting area as well as a second room.

This hotel is located in a great, safe area with many restaurants, bars and shopping located within easy walking distance. It's also about a 30 min walk to the old historical area downtown or a short bus or taxi ride. Really perfect for anyone who enjoys walking. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Moncayo room, located on... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Basic, but is expected for this area of town. Great local food within a few blocks. Small with only 7 rooms (feels like a converted house). Took care of a few bookings including taxi to tequila, and spa. Will come back.
