Very well located across from plaza del sol shopping center and close to many excellent restaurants. About 15 minutes from el centro and about 20 to 25 minutes from the airport. Had a club level corner room with a beautiful view, complimentary bottled water, wifi ,continental breakfast and covered parking. Well worth the 30 dollars additional per night. Not the... More

You know what you are getting when you stay at an Intercontinental hotel. I stayed here during the Parapanamerican Games. The hotel was quite full but the service didn't suffer. The hotel is located across the street from a "mall" which is nice. You can get inexpensive water and find local inexpensive places for a quick bite to eat. The... More

Best rooms for business travel I've seen hands down. Lot's of room for everything, stylish design, and plugs everywhere. There's even a built in european outlet in the desk. Now that's something I've never seen in a North American hotel. 9/10

Just this past week I stayed with a group of seven for only one night before an early flight. We arrived very tired and travel weary. Initially they were unable to retrieve our reservations but staff handled this very nicely and all was resolved. Our room was great and well equiped with tv, coffee maker, iron/ironing board, etc. We had... More

Like others have noted, this hotel is now fully renovated. It may not be the first choice for those who would prefer to stay in the historic center, but it affords a glimpse into the more modern and quite lively middle-class sections in the western side of Guadalajara. The hotel staff are particularly professional and friendly. There are a few... More

I stayed at the Presidente a few years ago and found it to be pretty dated. They've apparently done a major renovation recently and the result is a great, modern hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Guadalajara near a shopping mall about 1 hour from the airport with a taxi in big trafic and it is usually big. Hotel itself is not that bad but there were a few things that I certainly did not like: For the price you pay overnight the internet and breakfast are not... More

I come to Guadalajara regularly for work (about 5 or six times a year) and always stay at the Presidente. The hotel remodeled its rooms recently so if you haven't stayed there for a while you will notice a change. The rooms are much more modern with mood and accent lighting, big flat screen tvs, new post modern minimalist decor,... More

The hotel gave a good stay. I arrived a little early due to a morning plane trip, but was accomodated a little early. There was high security, but it was due to an Olympic committee's presence and a popular singer, although security is usually a very loose term. The floor to ceiling windows made the slightly roomy room mlthat much... More
