Subject: Letter of Appreciation for Outstanding Customer Service Dear All. I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service that I received multiple times from your associates - from Noemi R. N. - Westin Experience Specialist. Her professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail were truly commendable. Despite the challenges presented, she handled my inquiries with a level of expertise that exceeded my expectations. Her commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident throughout our interaction. In a world where exemplary customer service is often rare, her dedication to going above and beyond did not go unnoticed. I believe it is essential to recognize and commend outstanding service, and I am pleased to convey my gratitude to you and your team. As a frequent traveller and visiting a lot of Marriott Bonvoy locations globally - Thank you once again for your outstanding support. I will undoubtedly recommend your services to others and look forward to continuing our positive association. Oz Germany

I had such a high expectations for the Westin Guadalajara but was highly disappointed. Would I recommend it? No I would not and here is why 1. Check-in was subpar. The guy seemed hañf asleep and not very excited to be there 2. All kinds of issues with the Hotel: Rooms not cleaned, gum on the gym machines, safe not working, AC not working - they denied there was a problem until they technician told me there was issues with some of the rooms ACs and finally at that point management accepted there was an issue and tried to take a more proactive approach and accommodate 3. There was no apologies from the actual manager for the issues encountered. A bottle of wine or discount on our room service would have done it as a good gesture. 4. Bonvoy Titanium or Platinum didn’t matter to the manager 5. When arriving and leaving the hotel absolutely no one helped with the luggage. In a 4-5 star hotel really? 6. There was no one at the bar at night and the ambience of hotel was sad 7. Didn’t really look like the pictures, at least parts of it were unrecognizable to me 8. No pool Disappointed and would not recommend to tourists or business trips. better value and way better service and working clean rooms elsewhere in Guadalajara

I stayed here as a couple with a dog for two night a few weeks ago because our dog needed to see a specialist. We chose the Westin as it was close to our appointment and also pet friendly. Room We booked a junior suite with breakfast included as the difference in price didn't seem too bad. I was very impressed with the room- it was huge, and I must have missed it when booking (I booked directly on the website), but there are actually 1.5 bathrooms- there is an extra toilet in the living room area. This was very handy. The living space was quite large- our dog loved running around- and the bedroom was also very spacious. The bed was also super comfortable, and the main bathroom was huge. The shower pressure was great and I loved having the double sinks. I also liked the cupboard space in the bedroom- I don't usually use cupboards when staying in a hotel, but I liked the shelves in the closet for placing my handbags. We also got a really delicious chocolate cookie on arrival which I wasn't expecting, so that was a nice touch. I did find the room to be a bit dark, even with the blinds open, but that could be due to the direction we were facing. It was also quite dark at night, even with all the lights on, but that seems to be standard in hotel rooms. One thing I didn't like was the AC- it's set to auto and I don't think you can turn it off? So it constantly turns on/off to regulate itself, but it was really annoying and constantly woke us up all night when the room got too hot. Also, on the first day, the TV in the living room didn't work properly- I wasn't able to connect to Netflix or watch regular channels. However, I wouldn't "ding" the hotel for this as I didn't say anything, and Netflix worked the next day. Pets The Westin states that it's pet friendly, but I don't remember the weight limit/number of pet limit off the top of my head. We travelled with our dog (~5kg chihuahua). Before making the booking, I called up to see if there were any restrictions on the kind of room I was allowed to book, and was told there weren't any, so I booked the junior suite (online). While booking directly on the website, there is a box you can tick to say you're bringing a pet. The girl on the phone told me to call up a couple days before arrival to confirm I was bringing a dog so they could get the room ready- I did this, but on arrival, they still needed to send the bed and bowls up to the room. (But this was done super quickly so it was no big deal. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get the teepee that's shown on the website though lol) There is a pet fee- I think it was around US $35/day which I think is pretty reasonable. The hotel also provides a bed (it's a big comfy pillow- my dog LOVED it), bowls (along with a mat to keep them in place/ collect spills), poop bags (in a holder), and a packet of pet food (we didn't use this). With the exception of the food, everything else had the Westin name on it which I thought was cute- and shows that the hotel chain in general is very welcoming to pets. There are even room service options for dogs on the menu! Breakfast I prepaid for the buffet breakfast as I believe it was a bit cheaper this way. I was really impressed with the spread. There's an egg station- and that even has an egg-white option if you want- where you can get omelettes (there are ingredients there that you can add to it) as well as other things. I'm someone who eats a lot of protein, and apart from the egg station, there were plenty of other options. There were even pre-made egg-white omelettes with spinach and cheese. No matter what your tastes are, I think you'd find something to eat at this buffet. Both of us enjoyed it, and I feel we got our moneys worth, especially with all the protein. Gym We used the gym everyday while we were there as we didn't want to leave our dog in the room too long. It's a basic gym- there are dumbbells (up to 50lbs I believe), some kettlebells, medicine balls, a few machines (including a cable machine with plenty of attachments and a lat pulldown), and cardio equipment. There's no smith machine or anything with a barbell, but apart from that, it's a decently equipped gym for a hotel. Location The hotel is right across from the expo centre, so it's the perfect location if that's where you're going. Otherwise, the location isn't that great. I wouldn't say it's walkable to a lot- we chose to eat in the hotel as it was more convenient. There's a small mall a short (~10 minute) walk away which has a pharmacy and a couple other things, but it's not an area full of restaurants/cafes etc. In saying that, we chose the hotel because it's close to where we had to go, so the location wasn't a problem. Staff Everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful! I'm a member of the Bonvoy program, and it was super convenient being able to text the front desk through the app to order things like more coffee pods. Everything we asked for (mostly water and coffee) came super quickly. Overall We had a really pleasant stay here and enjoyed it a lot. The room was great overall, and I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone travelling with pets! Breakfast was also a highlight. I would definitely stay here again if we had an appointment nearby.

Hotel looks beautiful. There is not much around it, and food options are few. We got a room on the 9th floor. I asked for a quiet room. But it has very thin walls, and or windows. I could hear cars outside and a dog barking acrooss the street on a apt building. I wish they had soundproofed units... We ordered room service and the food was really good and really well priced. It was a very hot weekend and sadly there in no pool. They had a business center with a computer and meeting rooms. Hotel is spotless and it's a certified queer friendly destination. Staff was great. I would give it an 8 out of ten.......

Hotel is located close to the Expo (right across the street). Hotel is in excellent condition and the lobby, restaurants and rooms are spotless. The room is simple, but has enough room to get around. Beds are very comfortable. Restaurant is also very good, if you don't feel like venturing out for food. The only downside may be the water pressure in the showers. It isn't great and can be a bit of a nuisance when trying to rinse off. There isn't too much right near the hotel. For restaurants and activities, you need to walk a fair bit. Overall, a great stay. Friendly staff are also very welcoming.

Rooms are nice. People are nice. Servers and managers at the bar are clueless. I’ve spent over 50 nights here and there is absolutely attention to the customer. Server and manager are either on the phone or talking to each other. Bar could be making so much more money.

Carlos Saucde was probably the best bartender I have ever had while on a business trip. Know more drinks and makes them like a true professional that he is. NEGRONI that are perfect. Prefect Tom Collins.

The staff at this property are amazing and so accommodating. I have been staying at this property since it first opened, and the staff always make me feel so much at home. From checking in to the staff at the bar they never fail with their warm demeanor. Carlos Saucedo is a great mixologist who knows his liquors very well, especially when it comes to tequila.

Great hotel to stay at, everything you expect from a Marriott is there. Safe quit neighborhood. Definitely will be returning. To top it off, had the pleasure of being attended by perhaps one of the best bartenders I have met. Carlos Saucedo gave us so many amazing, safe suggestions from live music, to food, to museums. Every place he suggested was probably the highlight of our trip! His service was always professional and yet managed to always maintain a great dialogue while still working. Drinks were amazing and even the drinks I explained how to make from the US were amazing. Overall, loved the hotel and staff leading to loving the city. 10/10
