I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel. Since I had a very packed schedule, I did not have a lot of time to enjoy the amenities, but the rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also delicious and offered a variety of options. Additionally, they offer COVID testing at the hotel, which is very convenient for international travelers. I would definitely stay here again for business travel and it met my needs perfectly.

I travel Latin America and the US for business. I stay at Marriott properties wherever I stay. I’m in a hotel room about 340 out of 365 days in a year. It gets lonely sometimes always moving to a new hotel home. Not all properties are the same. Not all hotel staff are the same. You take the good with the bad. However, out of all the properties I stay at during my travels, the Westin Guadalajara is my favorite place to stay and here’s why… The property is beautiful! They really do their best on keeping up the property. It smells amazing. As you enter the doors, your hit with this aroma of white tea aloe. The beds are equally amazing. I’ve stayed at this property during four separate business trips. They have never gone down-hill with their service or property upkeep. I also have to say, their second floor restaurant and their room service is by far the best hotel cuisine. Their food is top-notch and their menu selection is wide! Lastly and most importantly, their staff is amazing, kind, helpful and prompt. If your reading this review and your thinking about making a reservation… DO IT!!! You’ll be glad you did! Hopefully, when you check in, you’ll meet Alfonso at the front desk. This man goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. He is kind and gives you a feeling that he wants you to have the best hotel experience of your life! If you call the hotel to make a reservation, you’ll probably speak with Elieth. Elieth is a rockstar! He has always helped my with my reservations and my picky requests. I ask for a high floor and he puts me on the top floor with an excellent view of the city. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful from the room location he gives me. I appreciate the beauty of this city. Elieth makes it possible for you to enjoy the view from the right location. He is just an awesome person. Super helpful! Last but not least, I hope you have the pleasure of speaking with Veaney! Veaney makes me feel at home. She used to work at the front desk, but now she takes everyone’s room service and other orders and requests over the phone while you’re in your room. Since I travel so much, it’s really nice just to speak to a kind person with a kind voice. She takes my food order every night now. I don’t speak Spanish very well, but she is so patient with me and speaks English so well. Tonight, after I ordered my amazing Molcajete de Camarones, she called my hotel room phone simply to ask me if I liked my food! Like, who does that at hotels these days? :) There was another day that I needed a vase for some flowers I purchased for a woman I went on a date with… I didn’t want the flowers to start wilting. I called Veaney and asked for a case and she personally went to search for one, brought it to my room and delivered it to me! I used to work at a hotel for my first job. I know how busy it gets answering phones and speaking with high maintenance guests all day long… The fact that she stopped what she was doing, during her busy shift, just to deliver a vase to me was so cool. It literally blew my mind. Veaney… you freaking rock! You always make me feel warm, welcome and connected at your property, every time I stay here! :) I’m an Ambassador Elite with Marriott and have never experienced such a high level of customer service, kindness and professionalism from any other property I’ve stayed at… EVER! Westin Guadalajara is my favorite property on this continent. I greatly appreciate all the staff and all the good vibes this place emanates. Keep up the great work guys! Note to General Manager Fernando Wallis… You do a tremendous job at making this ship sail! Keep up the amazing job and always take great care of your employees. They make my stays so memorable.

I did a reservation for 3 roomd for the Expo Mueble 2022 3 weeks in advance, the day before the expo ( today ) I recieved an e-mail leting me know that "There was a problem" and my rooms were not available. Sorry for the inconvenience, we have an option that is NOT across the Expo as was our intention to be.

I was recently in Guadalajara for12 days for the occasion of my wedding and subsequent honey moon. My husband, wedding guests and I were all treated like family during our stay there. Humberto Castro and the entire Westin team were so kind, attentive and quickly responsive to any concerns and questions that we had. We look forward to our next stay and highly recommend this hotel to others. From the front desk to the waitstaff to the Starbucks guy to hospitality staff to the management team, you will not be disappointed. As long as this hotel has not undergone a severe refurbishment and renovation, it will not be up to what a Westin should be, and will damage the brand's reputation. We booked a suite, which suite probably was correct when the hotel opened, but now looks old, worn out and dirty. Not recommended.

As a business traveler, swimming pools work best for me, but this hotel has a 24 hour business center and gym. If you have to plan for an IT, Cloud Adoption Strategy, or business meeting, then this hotel is great. It is also directly across from the Expo Guadalajara. Room service, a bar and onsite restaurant is in this hotel. The suites at this hotel have tons of closet space, a fridge and Uber Eats works also. Great for a weekend getaway, pets and family trips. The suites also have connected rooms with separate exterior doors. Knowledgeful and polite staff that works well under pressure. I expect much, so they were able to aid and fulfill all of my requests.

Good hotel, nice and affodable price, awsome view. Free parking is a plus. Several services in the room for a comfortable stay. Good smell at the entrance. Price looks fair for what it is and... (well I didn't know how to reach 200 characters)

The hotel is extremely nice and modern. Every space such as lobby, elevators and rooms are well kept and clean. This is perfect for business trips. The restaurant has good food. Everyone staff member there is friendly. Fortunate to get a great view of the city. Within the area there are only hotels but can uber to Avenida Chapultepec for food/beverages.
