The manager was nice and tried to create a conversation every time we met. Often he worked mornings. There was a female night porter who I always caught sleeping behind the desk. Id often go down late at night for cold water. The wifi only works in reception which is a shame as 99% of the hotel is based 2...

A very cheap, clean colonial Mexican hotel near the Centre of Guadalajara. Walmart and banks are 100m away. Wifi available in public areas. Rooms very secure. 24 hour reception. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Good English spoken! Near all city amenities and shops, public transport. Nice restaurant next door. On street free parking or parking lots nearby. Recommended place...

Hotel Calandria is close to the Heart of Guadalajara and one of the closer cheap places somewhat by the airport. I say somewhat because EVERYTHING is so far from the airport--but this one is 20 min. away by car. I heard that this place was in a bad neighborhood from the reviews on here but what really creeped me out...
