I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!! Not always the location is the most important thing. My boyfriend and I booked in this hotel the same day by the location. We were very tired and we arrived late for look for another hotel. At least in Europe 3* hotels are a good hotels. This is a less 1* hotel. This is a scary hotel, the bathroom has fungus, the walls with all types of stains, dirty sheets, the cover stunk, the rooms smells to cigarettes. I asked to change to another room and the reality is that ALL the rooms are the same. Doesn't matter the services they offer because the pictures on their web doesn't be the reality. Then they get the points by the services and it's not fair! THIS IS A FRAUD! I THIS IS A FRAUD! I attached some pics.

We booked this hotel online mainly for the location. When we got to the room, I went straight to the beds since the room itself didn't look clean. The sheets were beyond dirty. They had a yellow stain that looked like pee and hair all over the sheet. The pillowcases seemed like they've never been washed. I took two pictures so people know exactly what to expect. I'm still in the process of getting my refund since the hotel employee couldn't help. Such a disappointment because I had to leave at that moment along with my family which was already night time and my kids were tired. Definitely the worst hotel experience of my life!!!!

The hotel it's ok just that. It's very old and you can notice that right the way, staff it's ok, we just stay here because we just needed the hotel to sleep, we go out since early in the morning to late at night so for the price it's good. You don't feel very comfortable to spend more hours at the hotel but if you just need a overnight hotel it's find, our room was clean but old, has a nice view almost on the top floor, bed big but not good, they don't have safe box so I had to carry with all my stuff

Pamphlet and photos are beyond photo-shopped. It looked like a reasonable, easy place to stay for a quick overnighter. They spent all the money on the lobby and the pamphlets to draw you in and once you reach the rooms, you feel like you've walked into a horror movie scene. Everything is from the 1970's/80s, the 'clean' room was dirty: hairs, spills, mold, stained and holey bedding.....spent all my 'awake' minutes on balcony which had a nice view of the colonial buildings. The sleep was horrendous. The matress was sunken in, walls were paper thin and we slept in full clothes to avoid contact with the sheets....if you need a last minute option and don't want to spend $200 USD. ...I guess so otherwise I'd rather pay the extra pesos to sleep sound!!! Will not be back.

Pros:The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the Cathedral, Degollado Theater, the bus to Tlaquepaque, and other landmarks. Cons: At our arrival there were 4 reception staff, but only one was helping other customer. The other 3 didnt even care we were there. Two of those three were busy looking at an Avon or some sort of catalog. Also, very small rooms with very uncomfortable beds. Even though they says they have wifi, it never worked. This hotel is good if you are planning to be out and about during the day.

Not even sure where to start. I'm still disgusted thinking about the room that myself and my family stayed in a few days ago at this hotel. I will admit that we were desperate for a hotel room as we were doing a road trip and hadn't booked a room for a night in Guadalajara (we were supposed to be in Puerto Vallarta already). It was very late at night and it seemed that this was the only hotel with a room available that didn't cost $200.00USD. We had a room with two double beds; quite a large room, but what a disgusting, filthy room. I noticed some sort of red liquid on the floor near my brother's bed. At first I thought that it was blood, but on closer inspection, it looked more like raspberry jam, or juice perhaps. I went to use the bathroom and ran into little bugs crawling on the bathroom floor. The toilet was clean, but the bathtub looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in years. It was SOOOO disgusting. Brown and black grime build up all over the bottom of the bathtub. The first thing I did was check my bed for bedbugs, and didn't find any evidence of them, BUT, I did find other bugs crawling under the bed sheets. SOO gross. I wanted to cry, and run right out of the room, but we were all soo exhausted. I slept in my jeans, socks pulled up, and sweater pulled over so that I was fully covered. And I slept on top of all of the bed sheets as I was too disgusted to dare sleep under them. I had a terrible sleep as the walls are paper thin, and some neighbouring guests had their young children up and loudly chatting at 2:00AM. It sounded as if the other guests were standing only 5 feet away from me because they were so loud. If I hadn't been so exhausted I would have called down to the front desk to ask for a different room, and to complain about the loud guests. The only redeeming thing I can think to mention was that one of the employees came over to the parking lot and helped us take our luggage into the hotel. As others have mentioned, it is in a great location, easy to walk to many places! So perhaps if you don't check into the hotel at 2AM, and/or you are very stretched for cash, you will find this hotel works for you. But I would highly recommend NOT staying here. (I think we paid about $65USD for the night for five people)

I traveled to Guadalajara with a couple of friends with the intentions of knowing the place and having a weekend escape! We did. The hotel is really good located, just a couple of blocks away from Historic Guadalajara Center and there are several comercial plazas and markets around so you can do any kind of shopping if needed. If I remember right, theres some sort of Bar near the hotel so in some rooms you can hear the music at night, but not too loud to prevent you from sleeping well. The facilities are not quite modern, infact they look a bit old, but not too much really. Its a great mix between location and price!

This hotel is in the centre of downtown close to many tourist sites. The hotel is inexpensive and the staff were OK but not fantastic. Although we had made our reservation through a travel agent the hotel had no record of it, even after I produced a receipt of payment. It required a call to the travel agent who rectified the situation with the hotel. The room was adequate and clean but all floors are ceramic so you can hear any one above you walking around unless in bare feet or soft soled shoes. The bathroom had a terrible musty smell to it . The linens were clean and adequate as was the bed. TV was adequate. Restaurant breakfast was good and inexpensive but most staff only speak Spanish - not a complaint but just an awareness . Not sure if I would say here again - perhaps if the bathrooms were upgraded and not just painted.

They have removed some of the old stained carpet and replaced it with nice marble, still an older hotel but our group of 8 enjoyed it. As team leader i had room 132 a corner suite for 49 dollars and we centered our activities there. Very large room could hold 16 people. Clean Beds are not great. TVs are of 70s vintage; This is the place i always book my groups.
