Hotel's Favorite
I’m not going to sugar coat it. The room was great. The meals changed every day. Excellent service. A staff member named Gustavo was extremely helpful. For example, I am a picky eater. So I brought some instant noodles. He took them into the kitchen and put it in a bowl and everything. This is gonna sound silly but he made them better than I do. If you are ever in Guadalajara and need a place to stay, this is the place. Totally recommend.

The hotel is right by the convention center and the drive from the airport took about 30 mins. Check in was pleasant, efficient and fast. All the staff we met was nice, caring and respectful. We got a very nice Junior Suite with lounge access. The lounge is open from 6-8pm and has enoough food to make it a meal if you feel like it Tonight they had chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, hot dogs, charcuterie, ceasar salad, deserts, etc. I don't think they have liquor, but they do have coffee, tea, sodas, water, beer and wine,. Stay away from the Mexican wine just like you would stay away from a Russian comedy show. It is just plain bad. Our room was large, well appopinted and user friendly. They also added an extra bed for our daughter. Crabtree and Evelyn in the bathroom Valet parking is $5 per day. Hilton as a chain has really dropped in my book over the last 5-6 years, but this hotel is what Hiltons used to be. Top-Notch

I am a frequent guest at this hotel, spending 50+ nights there each year. I've tried the other Hilton properties in Guadalajara, and strongly prefer this one. I enjoy the Grab and Go with their fresh coffee and muffins, and the well-stocked gift shop is always welcome. The rooms are good, the food in both restaurants is good, the location is hard to beat, but the thing that makes this hotel stand apart from the others is the staff. I always eat breakfast, and usually dinner, in the executive lounge. This is where the Hilton keeps its secret weapon - a friendly, professional waiter named Sergio. I've seen him handle a room filled with hungry guests at breakfast and give the same incredible level of attention and care to each guest as when there are only a few tables filled. His service is one of the main reasons I stay here. The concierge team is also excellent. These guys can make things happen that leave you wondering if they know everyone in town. Bottom line - there are newer hotels in the area. But don't be fooled. The Hilton on Ave de las Rosas, across the street from the Expo, is the most comfortable place to stay in the city.
