This is by far the noisiest place I have stayed at. The hotel is very beautifull. Well worth a visit. And the lobby has great drinks. And live music. That however is the core of the problem. All rooms have shuttered windows to the central area of the hotel. The hotel being 200 years old, you hear every sound, everywhere!...

Even tho it is a historic building with a lot of character and beautiful architecture and surroundings, there are more bad things than good about this hotel. Pros: -The location is great, right in the heart of downtown, right next to plaza de la liberación, teatro degollado, and the cathedral of Guadalajara. If you are looking forward a centric hotel...

For the price I paid for, is one of the best deals I have ever made...really good deal. Our first day we enjoyed the mariachi at night (Friday night). Very close to many historical places in Guadalajara, restaurants (I recommend La Chata.. 5 min walk). The room was clean.. A little small, but for the price it was okay.

Horrible experince in this hotel!! They are partnered with an extortionist group, they call you directly to the hotel phone room and the reception never asks if you want to recieve calls from unknown people!! They called me and they took a lot of money because they claimed to be the receptionist! I talked with thr manager and he didn't...

I have stayed here awhile ago with family and the personnel were very nice as the service. Actually I don't know but it's been a traditional lodging and very convenient for walking distances to great places as the San Juan de Dios market, mariachis' square and museums like the greatest Hospicio Cabanas !!! You HAVE to visit, you wouldn't regret...

I stayed with my husband, 5,2,8mo children and granny. Great space-We had a large room; double beds, small living area with futton couch and TV also, bathroom had jetstream tub. The matresses are okay. Extra blankets provided. It is the first Hotel in Guadalajara so it is historic, old, nice. It is not very luxurious, but we are into old...

3rd floor corner with windows opening to the street sounds, and birds. An old bar downstairs. A very old elevator. close to the plaza to see the flag raising and lowering. In town and many restaurants close by.

During the first 5 minutes at the check-in counter, two couples were complaining that their room had been broken into. The young lady at the check-in was always rude. I only got my room cleaned out once during my 5 night stay. I asked for an iron, which they never deliver. I took some pictures of the room. I agree...

For the price I was honestly expecting something very basic. I normally don't expect much even when there are photos and descriptions, but I was blown away. We reserved the junior suite for a ridiculous low price and were definitely in love. It was the cutest room ever. Very romantic and spacious. There was a jet tub and a sofa...
