Horrible experince in this hotel!! They are partnered with an extortionist group, they call you directly to the hotel phone room and the reception never asks if you want to recieve calls from unknown people!! They called me and they took a lot of money because they claimed to be the receptionist! I talked with thr manager and he didn't... More

I stayed with my husband, 5,2,8mo children and granny. Great space-We had a large room; double beds, small living area with futton couch and TV also, bathroom had jetstream tub. The matresses are okay. Extra blankets provided. It is the first Hotel in Guadalajara so it is historic, old, nice. It is not very luxurious, but we are into old... More

3rd floor corner with windows opening to the street sounds, and birds. An old bar downstairs. A very old elevator. close to the plaza to see the flag raising and lowering. In town and many restaurants close by.

During the first 5 minutes at the check-in counter, two couples were complaining that their room had been broken into. The young lady at the check-in was always rude. I only got my room cleaned out once during my 5 night stay. I asked for an iron, which they never deliver. I took some pictures of the room. I agree... More

For the price I was honestly expecting something very basic. I normally don't expect much even when there are photos and descriptions, but I was blown away. We reserved the junior suite for a ridiculous low price and were definitely in love. It was the cutest room ever. Very romantic and spacious. There was a jet tub and a sofa... More

Hotel Frances is a ancient building with charming looby. Rooms are large and simple. The hotel is greatly located in the heart of the old town. However, i left the hotel since until 3 o'clock i could hardly sleep because of the noise of a night club. They have some more quite rooms. So ask when yo check in. But... More

First, this is a 400 year old building, so it will naturally be a little worn around the edges, but the balcony doors are warped and there is grimy buildup in the corners in the bathroom. I noticed a sign in the lobby advertising for an experienced camarista. I hope they find one soon because the cleaning of our room... More

We had stayed here before; we knew it was built in the 1600's. One of the reasons we stayed here was its old world charm; however, we expected the elevator to be working all the time. I have very bad knees, and the climb up and down was painful when it wasn't working. The iron gate doors do not always... More

This hotel was gorgeous, and for the price I couldn't have asked for more. Sure it's a bit rickety and outdated, but it maintains such an ancient air. We paid for one of the sweets, which was a whopping $8 USD more, and ended up with a large room with a sort of foyer and jet tub. We are going... More
