We already stayed at this cozy little „hotelito“ 3 years ago and came back in December 2017. For us it is still a paradise and a home away from home. The rooms are clean, the staff is very kind and helpful and the location of the hotel is perfect (close to a beach, not TOO close to downtown but in the middle of the daily mexican life). This time we travelled together with friends and they also really enjoyed their stay! Definately we will come back - but sooner than in 3 years :-)

This is our fourth year coming here. Natasha the manager is the greatest. She cares for every guest and will help them in any way she can. She was there within 10 minutes one time when a guest had a health emergency. She brought the doctor and even took them to the hospital. This year we enjoyed the new little restaurant on the property. At this time they are open for breakfast only, Natasha bakes wonderful breads and other pastries. Be sure you try her cinnamon roles. Antonio is the chef and our breakfast was delicious. Remember you are in the heart of the community so you will hear some barking of dogs at times. Just bring ear plugs for those times. The neighbors are all friendly which makes it a nice cultural experience. You will enjoy your stay in this small quaint little place. Oh and don't forget Macarana the maid. She is there every day changing your bed linens and cleaning your room. She is a joy and we love her too.

This place was great! My husband and I stayed in Apartment #2 (I think) which was just above the Tonio's kitchen/hotel office. It was a great place. Adorable traditional Mexican decor, with a lots and lots of room. We had a comfy bed, a massive couch, full kitchen with everything we needed, a small balcony, and nice (good water pressure) shower. The air conditioning was great too (small window unit in the bedroom and large unit in the living/dining/kitchen area). This place was great. It's a micro hotel I guess you could say, with I believe 2 apartments, a penthouse, and 4 other rooms (I think). The complex shares the pool which was really a beautiful, serene setting. The property is located in an actual Mexican neighbourhood, none of this 'hotel central' like many places are. There is a small grocery/convenience store around the corner which, from what I can tell, carries basically everything you could need! It's a 5 minute walk to the closest beach (whoops, I've forgotten the name) and 10 minutes to La Ropa beach. Both were lovely. Downtown was a 10 minute walk as well. Loads and loads of restaurants right near by as well. Natascha, the owner, was excellent. She was very accommodating, and had lots of tips and tricks to experience the local aspects of Zihua. Walking is very easy, and recommended in this area. There was never a time we felt unsafe. This was a great place to stay and we would certainly stay here again on our next Zihua visit!

Great place to stay while vacationing in Zihuatanejo. Mexican feel and colorful decor throughout, with good working A/C and friendly service. Enjoyed staying in a Mexican neighborhood where you can get a feel of what it is like to live in a Mexican town. If you are sensitive about hearing music that is played by local residents you may want to use earplugs but it did not bother us. We enjoyed every aspect of this hotel and the neighborhood. Very relaxing pool and grounds.
