Well located. Room was clean and reasonably appointed. Restaurant waaay below par, both food and service. Bar was a little better. Might stay here again. Cab to downtown was 40-50 pesos. Great view. Stay away from low numbered rooms- unless you like stairs. No elevators, only stairs. 45-50 are on top.

This resort was built in 1952.. one of the first on La Ropa. We wanted to go for fish... and found a chef who could cook fish well. The best part was the risotto. .. just delicious. Service was good... everyone was friendly.

Oldest hotel on La Ropa, Beautiful setting cascading from the road to the beach in a jungle of vegetation. There are 250 steps from the lobby to the beach. We booked a room about half way up next to the bar and restaurant. Amazing views of the bay from our room, Sunset Bar and restaurant. Nice private palapa beach area...

We stayed here in October 2015, it was a nice hotel. I believe we stayed in one of the bungalows, it had a huge balcony with a hammock and some lounge chairs. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but overall we enjoyed the room pretty spacious for my wife and I. There are a lot of stairs, no elevators, from...
