Casa Azul, the blue house on Calle Eva Samano de Lopez Mateo above Playa Madera contains three separate apartments: Nido (the nest), Abajo (downstairs), and Arriba (upstairs). We have stayed in both the downstairs and the upstairs apartments and loved them both, though they are very different, the Arriba a magical two story space with a loft and a palapa...

Nicely decorated with artisan pieces, well cared for. Shady trees keep it cool - the patio too. Nice kitchen, and cookware: and table in living room areas. Two large sofas would allow extra sleeping areas.Plenty of space in all rooms. The one bathroom is a little small and the shower does spray onto the counter and floor. It is a...

We loved it. I have stayed in Zihua about 6 times and tried a lot of different places. We liked this place because we had room to move around and really felt the authentic Mexican experience. Full kitchen, two bathrooms, upstairs, downstairs and many safeguards put in place to feel the place was very private and safe. We loved that...

Our recent December/January stay at Casa Azul was our our second time there, so we knew it would be the perfect place to host our children and grandchildren. We rented all three units and the kids had room to play inside and out. The patio and gardens are well tended with a lush, tropical atmosphere. The kitchens provided all the...

Great space, great location. Centrally located, very close to Playas Madera, Ropa, and Municipal and very close to the little downtown area. The house is really nice, clean, nice little patio. We had a great time- it was perfect for traveling with kids.

We had a great 10 days with David and Carmen at Casa Azul. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit with family. The whole place was clean and comfortable inside and out. The beautiful gardens were maintained every day. The location is great close to the beach, downtown and great resturants are just steps away. We felt the value was...

We stayed two nights. It was good. It had a nice kitchen with all that you'd need, and the living room was very cozy. The best part in my view is the balcony near the kitchen. We had breakfast there, which was very lovely! When they open up the place for you, they show you the safe (bolted to the...

Casa Azul had everything my husband and I were looking for in our vacation: well-slung hammock, comfy bed, ocean view, steps to the beach. We enjoyed listening to the surf as we fell asleep and cooking in the kitchen that has everything you need for simple meals in. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning and the rustic...
