My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights to end our trip. We like to check out several different hotels when we visit Ziihua, to try and find that hidden gem, this was not it. I booked it based on other trip advisor comments, good beds, clean etc. I would have to disagree, we were put in a nice...

If you stay here, make sure you get one of the nicer suites. We had a breakfast suite and it was very musty smelling when we got there. It took a long time to air it out. The bed was horrible with a plastic mat under the sheet. I felt like I was sleeping on a crib mattress. It just...

My sister and I booked online at Hotel las Azucenas on the recommendation of friends who have stayed there several times. It was everything they said...relaxed and clean, comfortable rooms, beautiful roof-top restaurant with a view of the bay, refreshing pool for a dip when not at the beach, and the owners and staff are great! Our initial room was...

This is my second time staying here. I was able to have the room that I had the last time on the 3rd floor. Since my last time they have remodeled the room moving and enlarging the bathroom and enclosing part of the outdoor space and adding a small bed. They added another floor and some more rooms that have...

Took the long walk to the top of the hotel where they have a wonderful restarant. The food was excellent. We went twice. both times was fabulous. Try the coconut shrimp to die for. Worth all those steps and the view is spectacular.

Edgar is the he very best thing about this hotel and this young man seems to do it all...reception, pool, waiter, bartender and so on. My disappointment was in the rooms themselves; they were furnished as inexpensively as possible and the only available amenity was the bar of soap, not a hook or towel bar to be found, the doors...

The hotel is less than 1 block form th beach, with an amazing staff and incredibly caring owners. Edgar is outstanding--catering to everyone and anticipating even minor needs. This is not an American hotel, but the native touches are refreshingly welcome to visitors. Our small kitchen allowed us to prepare simple but yummy breakfasts! The dinners we enjoyed on the...

I say "shhh" to keep this wonderful restaurant a secret, so it doesn't become overly crowded and lose its charm. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here tonight at the restaurant Amalia Sofia, with a beautiful view of Playa La Ropa as a back drop. He had tortilla soup and Shrimp La Ropa (with bacon and chipotle cream)....

I am talking about the rooftop restaurant that is part of this hotel. My wife Kasha and I had the pleasure of meeting Edgar, an impressive "do what ever is needed" employee of this establishment. He took care of our reservation, was there to greet us upon arrival, prepare excellent cocktails (margaritas), took our food order for 6 without writing...
