We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in January. It was above our expectations. They provided margaritas on check in, complimentary beach towels and delicious breakfasts. We got a full tour of the hotel and they made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We had upgraded our room to the penthouse (for a minimal cost) and it was amazing. It was large, clean and very thoughtfully decorated. The room looked onto the river and had a private terrace. The bed was huge and comfortable. The location was great. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants, but in a quiet area of town. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.
A true gem that gives you best of both worlds - an exceptional hotel getaway that lets; you experience PV like a local. The gorgeous outdoor patio/terrace on river is a gem. You will love a quiet breakfast out there. Close to virtually everything, so a wonderful location. You will not find a more caring and helpful staff. Truly unique experience.
This is a great boutique hotel. The location is amazing! You can walk anywhere. The setting is truly a beautiful oasis tucked away on the river. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is yummy. The beds are comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.
The Garlands del Rio Hotel is a 4-star hotel with riverfront and island views along the south side of the Rio Cuale. The closest beach is Playa Las Olas and all of the best restaurants are within walking distance. Everything about this hotel is high-end. The architecture, art, and the sounds of the river helped me to feel tranquil and I felt like I was in my own oasis in the middle of downtown. The rooms are well-furnished and the bathroom shower has miracle hot water. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, especially the pancakes. I recommend staying in the Gretel room, because it has the riverfront view and a feminine aesthetic. The staff, especially Daniel, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Daniel is a true professional along with being an admirable person. Blanca does an amazing job with housekeeping, and you can trust her to do your laundry well. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely visit again in the future!…
I just returned from spending a month at Garlands Del Rio. Pure heaven! The old world charm, location, beautiful Rio Cuale, generous breakfast and of course the excellent staff was so appreciated. Carolina who helped me book my stay was very helpful. Daniel and Jerry went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure I and my two Maltese doggies were well taken care of and happy. Ophelia and Blanca prepared our breakfast and took good care of me and sweet, kind Benjamin made sure the place was in tip-top shape. I also towards the end of my stay befriended the most beautiful kitty that I hope will become the hotels mascot! I named him Minu. Waking up to the Rio Cuale every morning was magical. I can’t thank everyone enough for a truly wonderful time and great memories… I hope to return soon!!! Kudos Alexander!… Muchas Gracias todos! Monique…
