We, as a family, have stayed there twice and are going to stay there again in late December. The front desk man is very helpful. The Park is about three blocks from the ocean in the Romantica area. Lots to do, lots of places to eat. Great fun over Christmas and New Year. On New Years eve there is a big street dance with a machine playing music from the 50's, 60's, 70's 80' on and everyone welcomes in New Years eve. There is also a wonderful Saturday morning market (more North American though) but lots of homemade goodies. You can jump on a bus at the corner and go anyway in the town. We love it.

A week out Arturo contacted me to find out what I needed in the apartment, any tours I was interested in, and arranged transportation. Once in PVR he met me at the property, gave me a tour, and insured I knew how to use AC, appliances, and had wi-fi access. He gave me his cell phone number to contact him at anytime if I needed anything.

The Park condos was an absolute gem. The condo we stayed in was way better in person! Very clean, large and comfy. The condo we stayed in was located on the first floor above the lobby, but no issues with sounds from the buses outside. Only minor issue was the hot water - it didn't last long, and there were only two of us staying in the condo. But we managed to time it out, so we each had hot or warm water to shower with. The rooftop deck/pool area is beautiful, great views of PV. Each day we were able to find chairs to lay out on, and the salt water infinity pool was a lot of fun. Big fan of Gerry (Geraldo) who is the security man/manager in the lobby. He was incredibly helpful when calling us taxis, providing directions, and putting a smile on our faces. We will miss seeing him everyday. The location of The Park was the best!!! Steps from so many bars and restaurants that Old Town offers. Plus only two blocks from the beach. My favorite bar we came across is called El Sonador (check out their FB page for directions), which was located a block East of the Park, and next door to Roxy Rock House. El Sonador has a fun rooftop patio with live music, with a couple guys from England running the bar. We also loved Margarita Grill down the street. You can also catch a bus outside of the Park to get to Walmart - in order to catch the bus to Sayulita. I recommend you do this if you have an extra day to explore the surf town. I highly recommend staying at the Park condos! I can't wait to return.

The good: The condo complex is very clean and has great amenities. The staff is extremely attentive, similar to a Ritz Carlton. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is modern with everything you need. The property is about a two-minute walk to the beach and close to cafes, bars, restaurants and the board walk. The rooftop swimming area was my absolute favorite with great views of old Vallarta, the ocean, etc. The bad: The buses are very loud, but then again, it's Mexico and this comes with the territory. Some of the rooms are located down long unlit hallways, so just be aware. AND THE CONSTRUCTION. Right now and for about the next couple of months, from what I could visually see, they're doing construction on the ground floor. The condo manager knew nothing, the vacation rental folks knew nothing, no one knew anything. The noise is very loud and the drilling can be ear-piercing at times. Luckily however, David Alonzo with Palmera Vacations was a rock-star and got us another place. I could write another review about him and Palmera, as their personal attention to correcting the construction noise was simply amazing. See my review on V Azul Vallarta. Bottom line is to be aware if you're staying here between now and the end of November. It's in the middle of a great authentic neighborhood and without the construction, we would stay again.
