Great place for a quiet relaxing holiday. We were happy to get to this hotel after a week-long trip to Mexico. The hotel is located on the ocean, on the territory there are many pools (about 8), a restaurant in which taste is prepared for a normal price. A huge green area, lots of beautiful flowers. The rooms are spacious with beautiful ocean views. The staff is helpful.

It was our first trip to Mexico and we chose Los Tules Villas del Sol for the location and it looked pretty good on line. We were not prepared for how gorgeous the property is! It was an amazing holiday of falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach, and waking up to the same, plus tropical birds cooing and chirping in the huge palm trees outside our balcony. We were in building 20, room 310. High beamed ceilings, king bed, mini fridge, microwave, good sized bathroom. Well maintained, extremely comfortable. Our balcony faced the all-inclusive hotel next door, looking down on their pool, with a good view of the ocean to the left. When the next-door hotel had entertainment at night, we got to enjoy it for free! They stopped the music between 10 and 10:30 pm so getting to sleep was no problem. Staff was wonderful and ready to help with anything. The rental tennis racquets aren't the greatest but we were still able to hit balls on one of the courts. Very handy mall right across the street where you can get anything you might need. Easy to get downtown by bus or taxi, right outside the Los Tules gates.

Too many roaches in the rooms. Hotel staff ignored my issues and they are interested for me to go to their presentations and tours. I reported the issue the first time and they told me they will send someone to spray but no one came. I had to ask one of the cleaning people to spray. There were then dead roaches and live roaches even after they sprayed.I will not stay there again.

Fabulous time had recently at Los Tules. Meticulous grounds, private sheltered beach, large air-conditioned room, and very quiet. This is not for the all-night teen party crowd but a relaxing retreat to recharge, read poolside, and indulge in a few well-made cocktails. Did I mention 2for1 Margaritas all day? The restaurant is run by Heidi, a seasoned manager, and the food is excellent all day. Prices are reasonable. Security is also a high priority and patrols are constant but not intrusive. Having tried the all-inclusive experience before, it is refreshing to have the options for dining outside the resort. A short cab ride takes you to the Marina or the Malecon. My only request would be for a few english movie channels or maybe HBO. Everyone was very helpful on the property and I got by with little Spanish(tried!). Will definitely be returning to Los Tules for a full week next time to see all my new friends! Gracias!
