My partner and I spent 3 glorious nights in the fabulous Sayuri Suite. It was way beyond our most optimistic expectations. The suite was just stunning, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped. Yes, some pieces of furniture look a bit worn already and the bathtub has a permanent stain at the bottom, but these are normal things that happen with the daily use. Service was the best part of the stay, everybody was just helpful and attentive. Ever since the moment we made the reservation, we could notice the personalized service and the service oriented mentality of the staff. Some services in the hotel were limited due to local government COVID regulations, but those were not responsibility of the hotel. We are very much looking forward to stay again at Casa Cúpula, it's been one of the most memorable vacations.

Prior to our stay we learned of this hotel from attending one of the pool parties. Therefore our next visit we booked 4 nights. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and offered a cool towel and drink. During this process we also met the lovely owner. We were then given a very thorough tour of the property by the young man who checked us in. After the tour it was time to see our room. We booked the regular queen room but when we arrived we were blown away by the amazing room 141. Absolutely spectacular. You enter into a foyer with a large bathroom to the left. Double sinks and huge walk in shower that reminded me of a high end spa. Then into the main room and immediately noticed the view through the glass wall. Wow! Again blown away looking down the canyon with views of the ocean. Long patio with a small elevated seating area at one end. The bedroom/living room had a queen bed, built in couch along one side and another couch and coffee table at the foot of the bed. We felt like we had been upgraded but this was one of the regular queen rooms. Loved it. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Great views of the entire town from the main pool and bar area. We ate breakfast a couple times at the on-site restaurant. Enjoyed sitting on the restaurant patio and looking at the greenery while dining. Also ordered lunch from the pool bar. Enjoyed all of our meals. Drinks are great and fair pricing. We were initially concerned that it was not in town but the location up in the canyon makes for great views and a nice break from the usual construction noises in town. Surprisingly not a long walk into town at all but we did chose to take Ubers back to the hotel since I’m not a fan of hiking uphill in the heat and humidity of Puerto Vallarta. I would most definitely recommend this boutique hotel and we are booking another 4 nights for April.

We plan to go back. The staff was so helpful, hotel as clean. Everyone that works there is friendly and happy to help. We loved it. The pool parties were so much fun. Anything we needed, the staff was able to help. They provided options for restaurants (all good) and had a car to take us down the hill. Less than $5 USD for a cab ride back.

My partner and I spent PV pride weekend staying at Casa Cupula. What a great decision to stay there. Warning: the hike up from the main part of Zona Romantica is a bit of cardio (super close - like a 5 min walk) but you’ll burn off your margaritas and cervezas. But the location is nice because you are close to all the action but also have amazing views! Boris & Antonio were both great about helping us set up airport transfer, in suite spa treatments (highly recommend) and answering all of our questions before arrival & during our stay. The pool club had fun parties but if you wanted more quiet and relaxation the other two pools were perfect for that! The Bistro has good food if you don’t want to walk to town for breakfast or lunch. And our room (a non-suite) was HUGE and modern! I can only imagine how luxurious the suites must be if our non-suite room was so spacious and nice! Will definitely be keeping Casa Cupula on our short list of PV hotels!

The atmosphere here is fantastic. The staff and pool area are excellent. We only went for the weekend party’s but will be back to stay in the villas. If you’re visiting gay Puerto Vallarta don’t miss this place!
