This hotel has excellent people working for them. They take great care of their guests and they take COVID19 safety very seriously, a major plus! The pools are lovely, The bars are great and it’s on a lovely stretch of beach. We had an excellent server at the pool daily named Hector and an excellent security guard name Obriens who made sure people observed COVID19 safety guidelines. He also made sure to find guests chairs to lounge in at the pool and kept the sun from killing us with umbrella shades! We throughly enjoyed our stay! All-inclusive is the way to do! I don’t like the $9 room service charge though, room service should rates should be included in the all-inclusive stay!

Hotel's Favorite
Visited the property for a week mid October and had an amazing time with all my friends. The food at the buffet was as expected from an all inclusive property and the drinks were even better. I have stayed at this property numerous times and the personnel always go above and beyond to make sure your experience is amazing. We stayed on the Hacienda side, the adult only section of the property. The pool attendants German and Isabel always knew what to bring and recommend. The buffet attendants; Miguel, Alfonso, and Cecilia did great and were very attentive to our needs and made sure we had all the drinks we could handle. Housekeeper, Marina made sure our rooms looked liked when we first walked in on day one. Overall, I highly recommend this property. Some of the services were closed due to Covid but the staff made a huge difference and despite that, the stay was still as great as usual.

My family made Hilton PVR Resort our home for Thanksgiving week during our first visit to Puerto Vallarta. The hotel is nice, and the location is amazing and convenient to everything. The all-inclusive food is very good, and the choices of different restaurants make for a nice variety. The maid service is timely, towels are replaced daily, and the mini-fridge is restocked regularly. All of the staff we encountered were incredibly attentive and friendly. From check-in to food service. The only inconvenience we encountered was the shower - there’s no hot water in our room.

My fiancé and I came to celebrate our engagement and it was the worst stay of my life. We are lifetime Diamond members, so we have stayed in Hilton Hotels over one thousand nights. When we checked into our room, we were greeted with black mold and absolute filth. There was black mold on the walls, ceilings, floors....EVERYWHERe! There was hair caked onto the wall, make up stains on the pillows and comforter. I assumed this was a joke, but no! We went back and said that the room was unacceptable for us to stay in, so we got moved to the Hacienda. The room itself was updated and beautiful, but there was still mold! When we got in bed the first night, there was women’s hair that was clearly not ours. The next day after a day in the sun, I went to get into bed AND THERE WAS FRESH BLOOD STAINS AND HAIR ON THE SHEETS!!!!! I couldn’t believe it!!!! We called the reception and the manager on duty, Wendy, was helpful and had the sheets changed immediately. Their solution was to offer us a free dinner...even though it’s an all inclusive resort. Not to mention, I found a cockroach and gnats in the room!!! One morning when we walked out of our room, there were plates of food all over the floor that we almost stepped on. The food was there ALL day, so no wonder why there are roaches!!! The food itself was not good. Looking at other reviews, it looks like this is a common issue. I don’t care if your executive chef is young, as this is their response. The food was flavorless, inedible, and sitting out in the sun with birds and flies flying around. We couldn’t even get butter without it being spoiled from clearly being melted and refrigerated multiple times. When we would ask for a soda, they would pour the flat soda out of 2L bottles. A four year old could cook a dinner with better flavor! Overall, our experience was miserable. We were supposed to stay for five nights, but we left after two. You couldn’t pay me to stay here! My allergies from the black mold infestation was insane. Multiple guests were coughing and sneezing, which I assume was from the mold. I’m not sure how this “resort” meets Hilton standards. Having black mold and blood in rooms is absolutely not acceptable. I am very disappointed with our experience here, and will absolutely never be back in my life! I have stayed in hostels in third world countries that were better maintained and cleaner than this dump!

The best: the staff. Especially the waiters. They are very friendly and attentive. The hotel: it’s a very small resort with a nice beach. The part of Hacienda for adults only was even smaller. If you like cozy hotel boutique style you will like it. I loveeeeeeed the cafetería over there though. The food at the breakfast buffet was amazing, so many options. But not so great the French Restaurant, very small portions and the taste not so good. They respect all the protocols for COVID so be sure you will be safe if you follow them.
