We stayed here three years ago on the Hilton Resort now we stayed in the second tower the Hacienda highly recommend. We'll be back soon. Thanks to all the members that went an extra mile, Maria Jose, Iván, Gabriela, Dulce, Mauricio, César, Geman, Salvador, Juan, Nancy, Larisa thank you all for making out stay extraordinary.
My friends and I went to Puerto Vallarta for a post-vaccination vacation and we're so happy we stayed at the Hilton. We were a group of 3 women sharing a room and we were very impressed by how nice and large our Hacienda room was. We had plenty of space and the bathroom was huge with room for all of our many belongings, and housekeeping continuously gave us extra towels, without us even needing to ask. The pools on the Hacienda side (where we spent most of our pool time) were beautiful, relaxing, and the service was excellent. On the main/beach side of the hotel, we really enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool with the most amazing sunset views. Although our group was fully vaccinated, we were still happy to see the hotel taking Covid precautions seriously and keeping everything very clean. And the concierge was able to set up our Covid tests for us in order to return to the US. My suggestion regarding the concierge services would be to arrive early, and set things up in advance as appointments fill up, as well as restaurant reservations. Speaking of restaurants, we were skeptical about the food situation at first but were very happy with the selection. Our meal at La Catrina (the Mexican restaurant) was probably our favorite, and the seafood enchiladas were to die for. The French restaurant (Le Delice) was a close second and the service was incredibly friendly at both. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, as well as lots of poolside snacks and cocktails. Last but not least, we all really enjoyed our spa time where we had some wonderfully relaxing massages. Although there were a few hiccups from time to time, I would say that the staff did an excellent job, the location was great, our room was perfect, the amenities were enjoyable, and I would return in a heartbeat.…
We stayed last week and it was a great vacation. There were some hiccups, but the hotel was more than generous to accommodate us for the inconvenience of late check in. We start with the rooms- a must is the ocean view. You don’t spend much time in the room so we didn’t need it to be spectacular. A/C needed some work and someone was there within 5 minutes to fix it and it worked the whole week we stayed. The Ugly was only one elevator worked for our rooms. Not an issue at 10pm, but sometimes during peak times it would take almost 15 minutes to get to our room. We stayed on floor 8 which is the top. Hopefully they get it fixed fast. I would have given a five star, but it was just too much to take. You’ve read all the reviews and they don’t lie. The service here is impeccable. From the waiters to the waitresses all over the property, this place has the best guest service anywhere. Omar, Mirabel, Azucena, we’re so awesome by the pool. We always had a drink and they brought us food when we were hungry and just basically took such great care of us. In turn, we took care of them too (TIPS) They deserve every dime. Emma, a hostess at the buffet was amazing and knew my twin girls by name after the first day. Every morning Emma would walk with our girls to our table and just have the biggest smile. She was great. Hipolito was our waiter at the breakfast buffet and he and his team were spot on. Bloody Mary’s, OJ, water, and baileys and coffee were always filled. They rock. Food was really good. The Mexican restaurant on the Hacienda was top notch. So good. A must try, however it’s adults only. Try the Bahama mama drink. It’s to die for. Tuna Salad, beef birra sope, fajitas, tortilla soup were so good. Thursday nights are Mexican fiesta at the beach and you don’t want to miss. It was phenomenal. Different theme nights at buffet. Well worth the try if you don’t want specialty. Italian restaurant make sure you make reservations after the sun goes down otherwise you’ll be in the sun. Portions are pretty small so order double. The French restaurant was decent. The beef sirloin was delicious. Pass on the French onion, it was a waste. Breakfast buffet was just mediocre. My issue here was there was never any bacon, chips, salsa verde, onion, and cilantro. Always had to wait. I’m pretty sure the OJ isn’t fresh squeezed. Egg station was great. Omelets made fresh. Always fresh salsa. Sometimes too spicy, but delish. If you stay 3 nights or more your Covid tests for 2 people in the room are free. Otherwise it’s about $40 each. We paid Vallarta Transfers to come get us for our trip of 9 people. Cost was $65 plus we tipped $10. We didn’t spend anytime at the beach, but the waves were nice until the afternoon breeze came in, then it was just swells. You have to get down early to get chairs and umbrellas. By 10am everything is usually gone by then. Weather was about 87 with 70% humidity so it felt like 90 plus. We had an amazing time and so will you. Don’t sweat the small stuff and enjoy everything. Don’t forget to tip your servers and maids. They work hard for you.…
Dulce at Hacienda adult pool Daniel at Dinner Buffet by Family Pool Clara at Breakfast Buffet by Family Pool These 3 employees definitely define the vision and mission of Hilton as we are Diamond Hilton Honor Members and we travel to all the Hilton properties! They provided above and beyond customer service and exceeded our expectations every interaction they had with us. Continuously acknowledging both myself and husband plus remembering n meeting our needs superb. There were other areas of the property that needed attention but these 3 made our stay exceptionally amazing and delightful thank you all!!!
Where do we begin!!! We were quickly met as we arrived by Angel the front attendant who smiled and secured our bags as we checked in. We met with Alejandra a HH concierage, who is a sweet, helpful and kind person. Our first room was not cool enough (temperature), but Alejandra was quick to remedy this and get us in a nice and cooler room. the list goes on. There is Diane, Aldo and Juan who are so personable and willing to make sure you're happy!! Then outside by the pools there is Felix, Maribela, Omar and Guillermo (MeeMo) who work so very hard in the beautiful hot sun to serve you cold bevarage and food! In addition to the servers, there are the employess who work tirelessly put umbrellas up and drag chairs through the sand to make sure we were comfortable. Enrique was amazing and such a hard worker. The employees listed above made our trip so very very enjoyable and we will return to see them in the very near future. Tips are very important. Since this is an all inclusive resort, we were very happy to tip the workers who made our trip memorable.…
We stayed for our honeymoon for 7 days and 8 nights. The staff is lovely- Alejandra a Hilton Honors concierge, was wonderful! She brought me solarcaine from the supermarket when I got a nasty sunburn, which was so sweet. My husband and I also loved the following staff members: Juan and Dulce from the Hacienda pool, Rodrigo who does towels concierge at the Hacienda side, Gerardo from Hilton buffet dining and Daniel are both so sweet and fun! There are so many others that you have to meet while you stay here! The food is hit or miss truthfully, during your stay you’ll learn what’s fantastic and what’s just okay. Nothing is disgusting however. While we were here, there were working on many touch ups and renovations. So when you stay these things will be complete and even better. Over all the can tell the Hilton has some wear and tear, but overall is a nice stay. Our first room was not at all cool enough I temperature, but staff (Alejandra) was quick to remedy this and get us in a nice and cold room. We recommend the Mexican restaurant and Mediterranean, the French and Italian are pretty “meh” we were better off eating at the buffet most nights. It’s certainly a treat to have the drinks served all day, by smiling faces and to be in such a beautiful place. Please tip your servers and bartenders, it may all inclusive, but a day’s wages is a fraction of what you make so please be kind and generous. These people are so hard working and so deserving. Enjoy your stay here!!…
Juan V and Dulce are the best pool side servers! The staff was friendly. Grounds so well kept and really nice rooms. Loved the swim out. A little lacking with towels and bar fridge replenish. Otherwise excellent
It is our third time here and we understand how some of the processes work at Hilton resort. The food is hit and miss, but it satisfies some of our cravings. Hacienda pool is fun and relaxing as long as patrons follow the pool rules. German, Dulce, and amazing Juan from the hacienda pool made our stay always fun and enjoyable. Updates to the property is needed badly and the sewage dump to the sea is very concerning. Overall, it’s a nice property.
The Puerto Vallarta Hilton Resort has the Best Team, Lisette the front Desk Supervisor made the stay a bliss, and Kudos to all the rest of the team for making our time there an incredible relaxing and memorable one. Housekeeping lady was so accommodating to our needs, thank you. Everyone in the Resort we thank you. Cheers 🥂
Stayed here for 4 nights, you get what you pay for. Rooms were space and in various degrees of disrepair. Buffet was adequate, nothing special but in fairness we were never disappointed by it. Other restaurants specifically the "Mediterranean" was one of/if not the worst meals of my life. You need a reservation to eat anywhere and can only do so a day or 2 before, then the day of all the restaurants sit 1/2 full for most of the night. On the night in question we were served wine that was clearly off to which the servers responded with "well it can't be we just opened it", im sorry have you never heard of corked wine? Our food was bland, underseasoned and was clearly plated as if it was trying way too hard to be something nice. Second course had veins still in the shrimp, lacked flavor, and was just plain embarrassing. For the main course 2 of my friends were super excited to have the octopus, this was served as a "half" octopus which looked like a sizeable portion, until you realize the guts are still in it and served on the plate. Very overcooked and just plain awful. I had the paella which once again the shrimp had veins still in them (disgusting) the chicken was dry and chewy, and the rice very overcooked. Thought our redemption would be dessert, well that was a mistake. The poach pear was undercooked and served with a steak knife which had trouble cutting through it, the chocolate cake was baked in a muffin liner and looked like something baked by a home cook, and the baklava had oats in it? Very embarrassing to say the least. At first I hesitated and decided I would mention this to the management at the hotel and have them acknowledge and give feedback on this. I spoke with someone who had me write this whole report up and assured me the manager of F&B would be in touch. I waited the remaining 2 days with 0 contact, thus have come here to let everyone know, that not only was the meal horrible the hotel wanted nothing to do with acknowledging this. I do have to say Isabel in the lobby bar was fantastic, as were the beach servers who were energetic and fun. But thus would not be enough for me to recommend or ever return here.…
