Don't be fooled by the exterior. We almost missed it. The restaurant/hotel is in a residential neighborhood behind closed gates. But once you enter it's like a whole new world inside. Very romantic. We went for dinner, had very nice service. Food was incredible and the view was insane. Very nice place to eat a lovely dinner, drink some very...

I can't say enough good things about dining at Hacienda San Angel. Everything about the experience is exceptional. The Hacienda with its beautiful open air dining areas offering views of the Bay; the food that is perfectly prepared and the waiters who time the courses allowing for a real dining experience just make for an enchanting evening. The calamari appetizer...

This hotel is truly amazing - don't be fooled by the outside when you pull up. It is stuffed to the gunnels with amazing antiques and art. Beautifully laid out with lots of open spaces to lounge around in or soak up the views. This is most certainly not a cookie cutter hotel - each space and room has been...

The restaurant at Hacienda San Angel is a bit of beautiful heaven tucked away in the hills of Puerto Vallarta. You ring the bell to enter, and then walk through the carved wood door into an interior courtyard of Angel stone and wood statues, flowing fountains, an abundance of flowers and softly lit terraces. Perched on the second floor, overlooking...

Great restaurant with unbelievable views of the city. Hard to find but worth the effort. High end Mexican food at a very reasonable price. Service was responsive to all our needs. When in town this restaurant is a must go to.

We had dinner at the roof top restaurant. Very romantic and beautiful setting. Unfortunately the view of the ocean has been destroyed by a building going up in front. You still get a city view. Never fear. The mariachi band more than makes up for the view. Nothing like you have heard before. This is a 10-15 piece with violins,...

Lovely rooftop restaurant at this upscale hotel in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Excellent food and service, views of town and ocean. The atmosphere is more "continental" with linen table cloths and a very nice wine list. They did have mariachis that were top notch - a band of 10. The restaurant was recommended to us by folks that own a home...

As with other restaurants in PV, the exterior of the restaurant didn't look like much, but once we entered into the courtyard, it was magical! The grounds ad statuary were beautiful and so romantic. You can understand why Richard Burton And Elizabeth Taylor rendezvoused there. The restaurant was on the rooftop, with a wonderful view of the shoreline and the town....

Always one of our favorite stops in Puerto Vallarta. Beautiful setting, great food and wonderful service. Mariachis are the best in PV but do know that for 30 min it is effectively a show. Hard to describe the facility as it is one of a kind and make one feel as if they have stepped back in time. Absolutely my...
