Another perfect family beach week. This was our second time taking our entire family to Puerto Vallarta and Casa Tres Vidas. We love this place so much we have already reserved a week in 2025.

With 3 generations (ages 83-21) it’s not easy to find a property where everyone has their own bedroom with BATHROOM! Add to that a beautifully decorated villa with 3 pools, a spa and right on a secluded beach and how could you lose. The layout of the villa allows room for everyone to gather or for each of us to find our own private getaway. The only challenge are the 7 floors with necessary stairs. No elevator here, but at the age of 83 both my husband and I were able to wander around -up and down. Maybe a bit slower than our younger grandchildren but fast enough. The amazing views and rooms way outweigh this minor inconvenience. AND with all the great food-the exercise was needed.

But as fantastic as this all is, the best part of this villa are the people! From the time we reserved our week Sara was always available to answer any question or assist in transportation and sightseeing options. Upon arrival Sara and along with several of the staff, and our houseman Daniel were there to welcome us and help with our luggage.
Then there were the meals! Every breakfast and dinner were delicious. Eduardo with his sous chef Pablo worked daily to present us with amazing meals. The routine was for Daniel to present us with menu suggestions every morning after breakfast for us to choose our next days' meals. If we wanted something not on the menu, they made it happen.
We had an anniversary and a birthday during the week, and they made each special. We felt so welcome and pampered! If we needed food or beverage replenishments, they bought them for us. This staff has been doing this a long time obviously and really go out of their way to make this a memorable experience.
I know this sounds unbelievable, but this place is that good! We have been hosting our family week at the beach for the last 30+ years and never have we had an experience such as Casa Tre Vidas.

I recently had an amazing beach vacation with my family, and it exceeded all our expectations. The pristine white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters created a breathtaking backdrop for relaxation, and the kids had a blast building sandcastles and splashing in the private pools. The beachfront resort was a true paradise for both adults and children, with impeccable service and a wide range of amenities, including a private chef and waiter that kept the little ones excited to have a delicious meal morning and evening. From sunrise walks along the shore to sunset cocktails with a view, every moment was picture-perfect for our family. The local cuisine was a delightful culinary adventure for our taste buds, and the opportunity for water sports added an exciting touch to the trip. We can't wait to return to this tropical oasis for another unforgettable beach getaway with the kids.

After being shut out of Italy again this year due to Covid we decided to live it up in Vallarta. I found this amazing Villa and everything about it was over the top! It rang all the bells and whistles for us. We wanted private beach, private pool, private jacuzzi and staff. Casa Tres Vidas was the answer. Im not sure how I describe to you this experience. The Casa itself is beautiful architecture with all the quaint touches of old world Mexico. The Staff is 5 star all the way. From the very beginning Sara the property manager reached out to me making sure all my needs were met prior to arrival. After vacationing to Vallarta since 1987 I know my way around. Sara arranged private transportation to the villages we wanted to visit, and it was cheaper then renting a private vehicle. Driver stayed with us on each trip. Next came the 5 star chef Eduardo and wait staff Rapheal, the meals and service were so incredible. You are provided with a standard house menu you can follow or you can request your own favorites. We requested off menu items over half of the meals we ate. Eduardo nailed them! Mussles, bacon wrapped shrimp, coconut shrimp, bread pudding, shrimp bisque just to name a few. Rapheal made sure we had all the drinks we needed in advance and walked us thru each meal making sure everything we wanted they had. I just dont have to words to describe the treatment in this Casa. Royalty? We even had a private fireworks display :) Jimmy the security guard checked on us each night after the house staff left to ask if there was anything we needed. So accomodating on every level of service. They never missed a beat. Even the maid provided excellent service. If your looking for the vacation of a lifetime, stay here! Like I said Ive been to Vallarta numerous times and I will never return again without staying here. We had a party of 8 with us for 10 days. The location is perfect and the noise level consisted of the waves splashing on the beach each night. No vendors bothering you and none of the hustle and bustle of the busy city life. Super cheap cab rides to town if you choose the nightlife action. 3 bucks each way. I promise you will not be disappointed and once there you will go back.

We had a wonderful week in Vida Alta. As we were concerned with Covid, we stayed at the villa for most of the stay and enjoyed several wonderful dinners at the villa. Between the open air accommodations, staff all wearing masks and little touches like hand sanitizer we felt safer here than in the US! We loved the home cooked meals served on the rooftop during sunset, afternoon guacamole and fresh margeritas, the hot tub overlooking the ocean and the mostly private beach. Staff and food were over the top. I cannot recommend this place enough!

For those worried about Covid, Casa Tres Vidas is taking all precautions and we felt very safe. The staff will shop for you so you don't even have to leave the wonderful villa if you don't want to. Our couple jaunts into town were also good, Restaurants have you sanitize or wash your hands before entering and staff were all wearing masks. Taxis all wear masks too.

There are no words to describe how wonderful our stay at Casa Tres Vidas was. It was the best, most relaxing vacation any of us have ever had. We stayed with 15 family members -oldest being 88 years and youngest being 8 months. There are a lot of stairs so our eldest family members stayed in a room on the main floor. That level Also has a pool and is the kitchen level. Sara and Margaret were so helpful answering our questions and helping with making our reservations. They were helpful in trying to decide the best rooms for our special needs. Upon arriving, Sara, Juan and Daniel were waiting for us. They helped us unload and then carried our luggage to our rooms. We had rented all of Alta & Vidas so had 6 bedrooms. One of our family members stayed in Quinta Maria Cortez. The meals that we chose from a menu were spectacular and the flexibility the staff exhibited to cater to some specific requests was so appreciated. We didn’t have to lift a finger to plan the meals, shop for the food, prep the meals or clean up. Every need we had was addressed and then taken care of. Sara, again, was so helpful the entire week to assist us with transportation and any questions we had. At the end of our stay, we felt like our staff - Juan, Daniel, Inis and Chef Pedro - were family! The pools, the beach, the ocean and Mountain View’s and the sunsets were also spectacular! We will return and highly recommend Casa Tres Vidas!

What an amazing trip! Where to begin on how fantastic this was. In the midst of the pandemic, we were seeking a safe, isolated, and easy to plan vacation with a few friends and Casa Tres Vidas was just the ticket. Starting with booking and planning, the staff was very interested in what our preferences were and arrival times were to make this as luxurious as possible (everything from taking down grocery lists, knowing flight times, to arranging transportation from the airport). We arrived with a warm welcome, hand sanitizer, masks, and margaritas.

During the stay, Eduardo and Rafa couldn't have made our stay more enjoyable. The food was impeccable, the service to die for, and the flexibility while we were sometimes not as prepared/planned as we could have been was very appreciated.

The location was great in that cabs arrived quickly, the private beach was only a 20 min walk to the center of town, and the property was highly safe and secure.

To make the trip, plan minimally, and have all the bases covered (accommodation, food, grocery, etc) this was perfect.

10 of 10 recommend, we'll absolutely be back again! Wish we would have booked for longer.

Our family of 20 ( ages 20 months to 82 years) spent the Christmas week at Casa Tres Vidas. The villas are absolutely gorgeous and we had plenty of room to spread out and large common areas when we wanted to be together. The children had the best time in the 3 pools and hot tubs and also loved going to the beach and collecting sea glass and rocks. We are close enough to town to enjoy shopping and walking the Malecon yet far enough away to have our own bit of secluded heaven.
I can’t say enough about the staff. They made our trip. Daniel, the house manager, attended to our every need with a gracious and joyful spirit. Eduardo, the chef, and all the rest of the kitchen staff prepared the most delicious and beautifully presented 5 star meals everyday accommodating both adults and children. Our rooms and villas were kept immaculately clean and comfortable by the most cordial team. We will miss them all.
Thank you to Sara for coordinating all the details so that our 50th anniversary trip will be remembered and cherished by all for years to come.

Casa Tres Vidas is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Located on a small, beautiful, quiet beach with an amazing view, my friends and I were in heaven. Vida Mar, our 4 bedroom, 4 bath villa was perfect for our group of 8 and to have a large living area complete with private pool and jacuzzi, living and dining rooms, a kitchen and 2 beautiful patios was more than we could have asked for. We had an incredible staff too who attended to all our needs….Chef Pablo prepared amazing meals for us, Raphael made sure we had everything we needed on a daily basis and Angelina kept our villa looking beautiful…and Sara, the general manager, was very helpful, answering all our questions, giving us suggestions as to what to see and do and arranged our transportation for us. Thank you to everyone at Casa Tres Vidas for making our stay something we will never forget. I can’t wait to come back!

This was such a special treat, my friends and I rented all three of the villas and it did not disappoint. Sara was excellent from the first minute she reached out via email before the trip to our last day. Our whole house staff was delightful and so very thorough and attentive. Even with so many people in our group, we did not feel crowded or cramped at all and we made sure to enjoy the whole villa. The villa is open to the beach and each morning we sat with our coffee and watched the whales and dolphins from our balcony. The area of town is very secluded and having direct beach access was a big plus. We also had a very short walk to the closest convenience store and pharmacy for all of our needs.

Each day we walked to the Malecon and ventured out some evenings for some fun, but mostly we stayed and enjoyed all the amenities the villa had to offer.

We had family ranging from ages 80 to 6. Everyone had an amazing time. There is a shallow swimming pool right outside the main living room, making it convenient to keep an eye on the children while relaxing in comfort. The beach is lovely and semi private. Every night we gathered on the terrace to watch the sunset and talk about how great dinner was.
The best thing about Casa Tres Vidas is the staff. They did everything to make us comfortable. Eduardo, the chef, is OUTSTANDING! Daniel, the house manager, couldn't have taken better care of us. We miss them all.
If you are looking for relaxation and pampering, this is the place to stay.

Is there a carbon monoxide detector?
Answer from JChrisJones

Spiders have not been an issue at the villas. In the past 20 years we have not had an issue or complaints about Spiders. Not sure if the Iguanas that are around take care of the bugs or? We do spray but cannot spray the entire neighborhood. Part of what appeals to guests is the open nature of the property and enjoying the great outdoors with all the natural creatures that fit into the ecosystem.

This is the dry time of year so there is usually not a issue with mosquitoes. The bedrooms have AC and are enclosed.
