I've stayed in this hotel twice and it is very affordable with a great location surrounded by lots of bars, nightclubs, restaurants and shopping. However, being in the middle of all the action means it's a bit noisy, especially because Insurgentes road has lots of traffic. Also, since it's a budget hotel there aren't a lot of amenities like a...

Basically, this is great place to stay if you have ear plugs and you are staying for a short visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although when we left, albeit at 430am, the front desk person was asleep on a couch. There are video cameras everywhere, but it's an open entrance and the doors are flimsily with a simple...

So, I wanted a last minute trip on the cheap to Vallarta and booked this hotel even though their ratings were uneven. If I travel alone, I am okay with lackluster accommodations especially for a short duration. What I liked The location was perfect for me - right in the middle of the Zona Romantica. The actual property was okay...

The Hacienda De Vallarta Centro is a medium sized simple hotel in the center of Old Town Puerto Vallarta. It is very clean. The management and staff are friendly, helpful and eager to assist you in any way they can. There is a small but nice very clean pool in the courtyard lobby area. Many of the best restaurants and...

I have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta for almost 15yrs now and this is the fist time I stayed at this hotel. To my surprised, I really enjoyed my stay. Let me get things clear, this is BUDGET hotel so do not expect anything fancy. Everything is BASIC.My room was small but CLEAN. The bed was comfortable enough, a bit...

Great location in the older city of Puerto Vallarta close to the beach, shopping and farmers market. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. We were on level 4, no lifts so be prepared to carry your own luggage up & down. More of a traditional Mexican hotel style without the glitz n glamour. No in room safes but reception...

The rooms are not bad - VERY basic, but comfortable. I had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking Insurgentes, right across from a bar that had live music, let's say the noise level was HORRIBLE, and when the band/music wasn't playing the noise from the traffic was just as bad - so the music pretty much stops at 12M...

Location location location...this is not the hotel to stay if you want all the amenities, but you can't beat it for the price, location & friendly service. Yes, it's a bit loud at times, and no, you don't get the finest amenities, but it was a comfortable stay, in a great location, with very friendly staff for an excellent rate.

Very basic hotel, rooms only have AC if you pay more "not advertised that way", staff are distant. Would not stay again. On the Pro side they do have a free reliable WIFI. If you have trouble climbing stair, then this is not the place for you as that is the only way around.

My stay was in February, and prices are higher, so we were looking for a budget-friendly hotel. I had walked by this place during an October trip and checked out the lobby, so I kept it on my radar for February. I was traveling with Other Half and a newbie couple. The good parts: The hotel is in an EXCELLENT...
