The rooms are not bad - VERY basic, but comfortable. I had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking Insurgentes, right across from a bar that had live music, let's say the noise level was HORRIBLE, and when the band/music wasn't playing the noise from the traffic was just as bad - so the music pretty much stops at 12M...

Location location location...this is not the hotel to stay if you want all the amenities, but you can't beat it for the price, location & friendly service. Yes, it's a bit loud at times, and no, you don't get the finest amenities, but it was a comfortable stay, in a great location, with very friendly staff for an excellent rate.

Very basic hotel, rooms only have AC if you pay more "not advertised that way", staff are distant. Would not stay again. On the Pro side they do have a free reliable WIFI. If you have trouble climbing stair, then this is not the place for you as that is the only way around.

My stay was in February, and prices are higher, so we were looking for a budget-friendly hotel. I had walked by this place during an October trip and checked out the lobby, so I kept it on my radar for February. I was traveling with Other Half and a newbie couple. The good parts: The hotel is in an EXCELLENT...

The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the beach and is situated in the gay district of Puerto Vallarta. As such there are a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops in the area. The hotel itself has a small pool and air conditioned rooms which is very nice considering how warm and humid PV can get. The...

Pros on main bus route, close to the action, cheap, clean, friendly. Cons noisy, kind of rustic, no elevator, no ac in cheapest rooms. I would stay again. This is a good place to stay if you want to experience the romantic zone and are on a budget.

Inexpensive, basic room. Good value, great location. Positives are the location and price and was clean. Negatives are that it is noisy if you don't get a back room, staff is just tersely friendly, and I was not too happy about the big sign saying that items left in the room were not secure. Because of the latter, I ended...

We found the accommodation was in a terrific part of town to be able to really get the most from our stay. Clean, tidy, reasonably priced and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Located in the heart of Old Town easy walk to lots of restaurants, night clubs and the beach. Well worth considering as a place to...

2nd visit to Hacienda Vallarta el Centro in 2 yrs. This accommodation has a very authentic Mexican vibe, from the street to the roof. The rooms are very comfortable, huge shower and closet area. They have made significant and welcome upgrades since our last stay, eg. equipped the rooms with mini fridge and flat screen tv's and a heat compressor...

I stayed there for 7 nights. Exceptional costumer service, clean, safe, centrally located.Small and quiet rooms at top floors, larger but nosier rooms at the bottom floors. Don't be shy, just use ear plugs and you'll fall a sleep like a baby. Can't ask for more when you pay $30 per night. Great value for your money.
