We (wife and 9 yr daughter) stayed 6 nights at Casa Dulce Vida and had a great time. The location is close to the Malecon and Zona Romantica. Spacious rooms, beautiful pool, lovely setting, courteous staff... There are several good restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed with our family of five in Casa 4 four five nights and it was excellent in all ways. The apartment was huge and beautiful with high ceilings. The view over the ocean breathtaking. The pool area was very pleasant and the pool not as small as it might look from photos. The location ideal; close to the Malecon,... More

I love this place. Beautiful rooms with fascinating decor, comfortable beds, fantastic little tiled paths, cool red-tiled pool. And nice owners who give you guacamole and beer when you arrive. Great location too.

This place does not look like much from the outside, but oh, how comfortable it is inside. It goes on and on, with fabulous views and spacious rooms. The hosts greet you with excellent advice on the town and travel, and also beer and guacamole in the fridge. The smaller Casa 7 was not to my liking, but that is... More

I just returned from Casa Dulce Vida and can't emphasize enough how exceptional this particular Casa is. This magnificent property features 7 self contained 'Casa's' , ranging from a 400-500 square foot unit, to a 3000 square foot ( Casa 4 ) brilliant master suite. I was staying at one of the highest rated, All In resorts, but found myself... More

I stayed at the Casa for 2 weeks over Christmas several years ago but after recently recommending this to a friend I thought I would post my review here. We booked late so only Casa 7 was available. It is not as nice as the other suites (we got to tour them all as people checked out) but it certainly... More

We needed accommodation in a hurry and on an off chance, after reading all the reviews, were able to book into this gem! I love architecture and design and this little inn lives up to the pictures. The pool is so unusual and beautiful, with original red mosaic tile which was imported from Italy. The history of Casa Dulce Vida... More

I first visited here on a yoga retreat about ten years ago. I walked in and thought, this is my dream location. There are six apartments of various sizes, all with their own kitchenettes and bathrooms around a pool, patio and garden. Each room is uniquely furnished, and each has its own special qualities. We have stayed in Casa 5,... More

It's been about 2 months since my wife and I stayed at Casa Dulce Vida during our honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta and, having time to reconsider our trip, I really have to wonder if we could have found a more perfect place to stay while we were in the city. I'm coming to the conclusion that we really couldn't have.... More

This was our second time staying here. The first time we came with another couple and had their large Casa 4 with the balcony over looking the pool and bay. This time we decided to splurge and have the same large area even though it was just the two of us. Upon arrival there is fresh guacamole in the fridge... More

“We loved Casa 5, it would be perfect for a couple or small family. There is a small tienda across the street that has everything you need - beer, soda, snacks, etc. And there is an incredible restaurant, owned by a Mexican woman that serves delicious home-cooked meals, for cheap. The "agua de jamaica" is a must-order.”
