Our first stay at this small, quaint hotel in the PV marina. Enjoyed the location and small size. Hotel and grounds were clean and well kept. Everyone was very accommodating. DId not do the all inclusive as so many restaurants in the area. We will be back!

Much of what I would add is covered in previous positive reviews. We had an accounting issue which was never satisfied but oh-well. Hugo is truly a gem and should appreciated as such. We too had issues with certain regional Canadians being rude. Unfortunate as all the hotel staff were good and really tried to make our stay pleasurable.

Well, the hotel is clean, the staff friendly (for the most part, especially Hugo, who made me feel like a VIP), and the accommodations are adequate. And, for $550 for a week, what can I expect, right? I mean, I didn't see a bug when I was there, and my room was always cleaned well. Why the 3 stars then? Well, 2 reasons. First, the wristbands. I understand that the hotel has security issues and issues with people using their lobby and/or facilities when they aren't guests. BUT, they make you wear these wristbands that cannot be removed for the duration of your stay. If you do happen to lose it or it falls off, there's a penalty. But what was really annoying about it was the wristband itself. A) it was a pain in the ass and B) it causes tan lines. I know, little things, but seriously, figure out a new method of keeping track of your guests and who belongs/doesn't belong. Second, the food. Yuck is the best word to describe it. I had an all-inclusive for the remaining 2 days I was there. The drinks were ok but the meals were really gross. Even breakfast was gross. I don't get it. How can you screw up a fried egg? Other than that, I enjoyed my stay at the Flamingo and when I am looking for budget accommodations, I will think about returning. Also, please note that the rooms here are loud and when they adjoin to the next door room, they do so in strange places. Mine was adjoined to my neighbor's bathroom, so when they were blowdrying their hair at 630AM, it sounded like they were sitting next to me in bed.

Thank you Flamingo for another great stay. We got great service from all the staff, many of whom spoke excellent English for those of us that don't know Spanish. Wish I could remember everyone's name - Hugo, Victor, Alejandro, the servers, the bartenders, housekeeping, front desk and everyone else hard at work, that made the week awesome! We did miss the pool activities this time, but apparently some of the guests don't like the music playing while games and exercise go on. Pity. There was a shortage of pool loungers at times and a few more tables/chairs on patio would be nice. We had the all-inclusive that was the buffet for meals and beverages from the bar. Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Always had hot water for the shower! Great Marina location with easy access to anywhere you want to go in Puerto Vallarta and area.

We checked in for a one night stay and were brought to our room by the bellhop. While waiting for that room, we sat by the pool and had a drink. We noticed that all of the room had a patio or balcony with chairs and a table for sitting outside.. The room we received was at the end of the hallway. Once inside, we had a patio the had no chairs or table and because it was at the end it looked into a room with stored equipment. The couch inside was so dilapidated, that it should have been thrown out. Other parts of the hotel had cracked floor tiles and unkempt hallways Our stay included a free breakfast at the restaurant that looked like it was part of the hotel, but apparently wasn't. The food was very disappointing. Food in the buffet wasn't being refreshed. The breakfast sausages must have been in the heating pan for a long time, as they were hard as rocks The pancakes, waffles and other foods were tasteless. The help was very pleasant and nice to deal with. This hotel needs a update to make it more suitable for its' guests, and they need to work out something with the restaurant si that better food is provided.
