We drove to Boca de Tomatlan and took a "panga" to Casitas Maraika... Nice service, great beach for snorkeling and paddle boarding... My family enjoyed themselves here, and they really liked the food and specially the Nutella crepes. Great beach to relax with the kids!

You can spend the day here at this private beach you access only by boat or stay and sleep in. Amazing food, we had the marlin burritos, toritos, maraika salad, ceviche and couldn't stop eating. Definitely want to go back. They have outstanding selection of mezcal and raicilla!!!

We recommend Casitas Maraika a place to explore and make an adventure to visit. You won't want to leave this beautiful location! Beautiful beach location south of Puerto Vallarta. Access by water taxi from Boca or other boat transportation. We found it by hiking from Boca and also a short hike from Las Animas!! We had a Great Day!!

Casitas Maraika could be a wonderful place. For us it wasn't because they took advantage of us. We went there for our honeymoon (i'm Mexican and my husband's Belgian) The first thing we did when we arrived was eat and it was SO delicious! We asked for the bill and our waiter said that we needn't worry about money then,... More

An ideal day for me is to hike from Boca de Tomatlan towards Las Animas and further. On one particular hike we stopped at Maraika because we were hungry, and, we loved the atmosphere. Maraca sits on the edge of the bay with a beautiful view of the water. As we watched the boats fly by while sipping on Margaritas... More

After the hike along the coast from Boca de Tomatlan you arrive at this lovely setting jutting out into the bay over looking Puerto Vallarta. My wife and I stopped after the 1 1/2 hour hike to enjoy a mango margarita and a Maraika Salad with lettuce, goat cheese, walnuts and mango. I can only say both were spectacular. The... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in March. I agree with the previous traveler who wrote this is a little bit of paradise just come prepared to relax and unwind. It seems as though the place is going through some transition- so communication may not be the best and the wifi they are working on it. If you are... More

We spent one week here, and fell in love with the place and the people. The food was amazing, the staff are all excellent, and the location calms the soul. We walked into Animas one day and Boca the next and decided that we weren't leaving again. The place is situated right on the shoreline along the walking path between... More

We explore the mountain, jungle and the secret path to visit Casitas Maraika, the secret path is a different way to explore Puerto Vallarta and get hungry, it's about 2 hrs walk but you feel safe over that road. When you get there you find the beach El Caballo (Horse) the service is great, gives you privacy, relax, ocean, food... More
