With the charm and warmth that have made this destination unique, Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta is, without a doubt, one of the most attractive hotels in Banderas Bay, the second largest bay in the Pacific. With contemporary Mexican architecture, this beautiful construction is perfectly harmonized with a landscape bordered by the mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental and the most beautiful beach in Vallarta. We inform you that during the months of July-October we will be remodeling one of our restaurants, we serving breakfast in our other restaurants. Informatively, the Tiantáng Restaurant is exclusively for adults

The club level starts with the 7th floor and the 9th (the highest) is penthouse club, where you need room card access even by using elevator. Pros: beautiful beach with an easy access to the water, water is pretty calm and very warm Sales persons are only behind the rope, if you're going to the ocean and not really annoying. Beautiful view from the room on the 9th floor Access to the club pool with great ocean view and service of food and drinks Really good coffee shop, highly recommended Cons: only three restaurants open: Mexican, Asian-- the best food and service, and Italian-- with awful food and service Buffett opened at breakfast and lunch only without bug variety of foods. So, if you stay more than 4-5 days, will be tired of foods are served Cevicheria not good, waited for 45-50min for meal that are in less than 10min as some food wasn't even eatable. Like fry fish: super small fish deep fried to the dry piece of skin, nothing to eat. Only one pool for non-club full with tons of children of different ages, not much shade. Lounges at the beach are very outdated and not comfortable. The things that bothered the most We ordered to clean our room first time in three days and housekeeper broke a stone shelf in the shower without even bothering to clean all pieces of stone on the floor, which I of course stood on while taking the shower. Decided not to allow to clean our room for another four days (till our leaving) after that. Very obvious that this resort isn't oriented for international travelers, much more for locals. This is not only about food choices, but also much about service. As a club member you have a right for a special seating at Veranda for breakfast. But many days we have to wait for the table or were seated at the sun because other tables were occupied by locals, non club travelers. No premium liquors!!! Very often you can't even feel an alcohol in your drink or drinks are warm, like champagne! I am not sure if it just us, but again we feel very often that we have to wait till local people will be served first, and than it was our turn. The bottom line: very happy that we had a club level, otherwise it'll be totally ruined vacation. Never will be back and won't recommend it to the travelers, who used to international resorts.

Hotel's Favorite
My family and I stayed 5 nights here and definitely we will come back, the COVID protocol measures that are taken here are seriously, the occupancy is no more than 25%, no buffets, everything is à la carte, ask for Armando and Alejandro in the mexican restaurant, Carlos, Ismael and Rafael in the pool area are awesome, Martha in entertainment. Due to the COVID situation most of the kids activities are closed however my kids enjoyed the stay, don’t doubt it, stay here.

I had heard so many incredible things about Fiesta America both from friends and from reviews so I really wanted to love this resort so much so that I even went back for a second stay just to see if the "glitches" were indeed just human error as the management told me. First, the good-the location is amazing as is the price point. It is perfect for the family traveler and is definitely geared to that. The room service staff is kind, friendly, and truly care about what they do and the entire staff greets you with a smile. While there are many Covid protocols in place, it's important to note that while the staff did indeed wear masks, the policy appears to be that it does not need to cover the nose-only the mouth. Also the website states "All linens sanitized in the high-temperature wash" and that may be but during my second stay I pulled back the covers to discover bloodstains on the sheets-not something you want to find during Covid or any other time. When I called to ask for clean sheets, it was first suggested that I just "sleep on the other side" and when I indicated that was not acceptable they said someone would be right up-which turned out to be over an hour later. During my first stay, I also had issues where they started cleaning the room, the beds were stripped but then they left and forgot to finish the room. On my first stay, my room that I book was unavailable to I was upgraded to an incredible suite which was spectacular in every way. However, with the upgrade, I somehow lost the amenities that were supposed to come with the other room, such as free access to the adult pool, 2 days of free cabana use, and other perks. I spoke to the management and they apologized, said it would be remedied but it never was but they did credit me a small amount on my bill. One of the reasons I went back is because I wanted to experience some of these extras that are advertised as part of booking the Fiesta Penthouse Rooms and again none of the amenities advertised turned out to be included or at least no one at the Sonne Beach Club (the adult pool) or at the regular pool or at the spa seemed to know about them. The Penthouse rooms while they do have great rooms are in need of a makeover-there are chors and wires hanging everywhere, are very small and outdated. There is the constant pressure from the moment you enter to get you to buy into their timeshare and it does not let up even when you're trying to have lunch and because of that I finally resorted to room service for my meals-which was excellent. Would I stay here again-I honestly at this point can't say that I would but maybe over time I could change my mind. Again, great location, friendly staff, great beach but my advice is to make sure that when you check-in that you are getting the amenities that you have paid for

From arriving to leaving, I never stopped laughing, the staff never stopped laughing, everyone of the ladies and gentlemen who worked in this hotel ALWAYS had smiles on their faces. a genuinely "feel good" kind of place, nothing was too much trouble, everyone was civil and respectful. I stayed with My wife and Mother in law and even that didn't bring me down HA HA HA HA We stayed for 14 days and what a great time was had by all, would I go back? most definitely. Would I recommend? most definitely 10/10 for service
