Our experience at Casa Velas has brought us back AGAIN! Upon arrival, we are greeted by a smiling staff Sarahi, Ruben, Ana, Sophia, Juan, Nolberto and Miguel (concierge). We are escorted to our room where our luggage has already been delivered probably by Armando. The rooms are quite large with a nice view of the surroundings and private plunge pool. Sergio takes great care of the property and pond by entrance and is very engaging. Our housekeeper this year was Guadalupe who always called us by our names. Anita also took great care of our room as well. Let’s not forget the Spa where you will be greeted by Veronica or Esmeralda. Lourdes gives an amazing massage. May be the best ever. The pools are chlorine free with very attentive staff. At the main pool we were well taken care of by Ulises, Ramon and Fatima. Beverages and food are available at your lounge chair or at Emiliano. Restaurant Emiliano's menu has a variety of options which allows you to select something different each meal. Or, you can request a special dish. Sadly, I misplaced my list with everyone’s name but Edu, Jerry, Rosio, Daniel, Caesar, etc., are professional yet friendly and engaging. Freddy (a mainstay at Casa Velas for almost 20 years) keeps us well hydrated with a couple cocktails in the lobby bar. If you prefer the beach, you can elect Tau, the beach property a few blocks away. At Tau, chose between the pool or access to the sandy beach. Both have beverage and food serviced by such wonderful staff as Benny (also there for MANY years), Antonio, Manuel, Erick, Isabel, Erika, Baleria, Santa Luna; Capt Rigo. I believe the chef at pool is Daniel. The lobby area has entertainment each night. We were gifted to such talent as Magali (exquisite on violin) along with Alex on guitar. We requested a Santana song they had never played before and nailed it perfectly. There are other artists as well (Leon for one); all extremely talented….not to forget the mariachis too! And that saxophone player! It would be nice if the lighting for the artists was taken up a notch. Too dark. Overall, our time at Casa Velas is always spectacular. If we had to suggest anything, we have two thoughts. First, we like to see at least one Peacock back on the property. Second, we’d like to see a new agreement with the local golf courses for better rates. We have been going to Casa Velas for over 15 years, usually 2 weeks at a time. The staff is superb which in our eyes will make or break your vacation. We’ve decided to go again in October. Very much looking forward to seeing everyone. We just returned home from a very special 12 days at this so special oasis. It was our 2nd stay ( November 2022 ) at Velas, and as wonderful as our 1st time, our visit this time was beyond words. We came ‘home’ to celebrate my birthday, and as soon as we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff was as if we were returning home to be with family.. The entire property remains in beautiful condition and the constant attention to the maintenance is evident.. Our room was beautiful and we had a great view as well as a hot tub on the balcony.. Every meal here or at the Tau Beach Club was excellent and the gracious service with always a smile surpassed our last stay.. The pool is so beautiful and the flowers and serenity is the best.. The staff is exceptional and so warm and welcomed us back as true friends.. My birthday was celebrated by the hotel in several ways and will not be forgotten.. My wife and I have been fortunate in being able to travel extensively, and nowhere that we have visited, can compare to our time at Casa Velas ! We are already planning our next stay for this coming fall. A 5 star + experience thanks to Miguel Dorado General Manager as well as Ana and Sofia in the reception area , Jesus and Alfredo in the restaurant, Ulises and Ramon poolside and our housekeeper Francisca. I know that I have left names out, but everyone is part of the ‘ family ‘ that cares for you during your stay. We already long to be with the friends and family at the Casa, but will have to wait until late October or November.. We will miss everyone !!…

Our visit was on Labor Day 2022. This is a wonderful, small hotel. Clean with excellent food, immaculate grounds. Frienly staff as is almost always the case in Mexico. This is not a typical large resort like most others. It’s a boutique and a little secluded hotel perfect for couples. Beach acess and other amenities are available through a suster property about 10-15 minutes walk from Casa Vellas. Nice and highly recommended.

Casa Velas Puerto Vallarta July 24-29, 2023 Once again we returned to Casa Velas for a reboot so to speak. That driveway makes my heart flutter knowing all tension will leave my body soon! It did not disappoint this time either. We had our usual room, one bedroom, two story, 1.5 baths with a Jacuzzi on the balcony outside the second floor and plunge pool on the first floor. Mini bars stocked with our preferred likes shared through the concierge before our arrival. There literally is nothing you could want for here. All amenities are provided in the rooms all the way down to a beach bag to use. The check-in and out was seamless, comfortable and welcoming. The service overall is outstanding. The pool onsite is large, with a swim-up bar and of course, there is the free shuttle to the beach club, Tau, just minutes away. We actually enjoyed just staying on site this trip. The clientele were of course all adults, Yay for no children, sorry kiddos. The age range was broad from mid-20s to well over 60. There was a group from a wedding which was to be held the day after we departed. Lots of great conversations were had in the pool and at the swim-up bar. As usual, the grounds are just stunning and well-kept. You have to love the tropical feel and boutique environment. It is like being in your own little village with family and friends and staff for your every desire. The restaurant onsite had a variety of choices, for every meal, along with a separate menu for poolside and yet a 24 hour room service menu as well. An addition to the menu is a theme special every night. Everything was tasty, cooked to perfection and served efficiently and with a smile. You also have the choice to go over to the sister resort, Velas Vallarta, again minutes away by shuttle, for swimming, entertainment and dining. We loved every second of our stay and will continue to return as often as possible. Experience in traveling has taught us, Casa Velas is the best Adults only AI in Puerto Vallarta.…

What an excellent experience at Casa Velas! The grounds were impeccable. The rooms were clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The food at all locations, including Emiliano, the restaurants at Velas Vallarta, poolside at Casa Velas, and at the Tau beach club was fantastic. Housekeeping was excellent and timely. But what most stood out was the impeccable and above-board service provided by the staff. I have never felt more looked-after and appreciated at a resort than I was here. I would return here in a heartbeat as a result and would heartily recommend Casa Velas to anyone as a result. Specifically, Sergio and Nolberto at check-in and concierge, Daniel and Jesus at food service/Emiliano's, and Ulises at poolside, provided prompt, attentive, and exemplary service. The work provided by those staff members went a long way to making the stay simply wonderful. One small critique. During one of our days there, the Tau beach club was unavailable for use due to it being rented out for a private event. Use of this club is included in the all-inclusive fee. If its use is not going to be available for guests, then alternate activities or incentives should be provided to compensate. Despite that small criticism, our stay there was fantastic and we hope to return some day. …

There are occasions when we do cater to weddings and private events, but we generally employ an alternative luxury setting set aside for non-event guests. On the plus side, separating private events will minimize any sensation of overcrowding at Casa Velas as we do our utmost to maintain the atmosphere of the hotel proper as tranquil and stately as possible. Casa Velas is another facet of the Velas Resorts in Puerto Vallarta. This one is definitely more couples and adults only. Amazing gardens and water features. There is no other resort that features outstanding service at all levels like they do at Casa Velas! Every single food option is well thought out and provides for a variety of tastes. You need to remember to let them serve you! It is in believable the way that they provide thoughtful service to meet everyone of your needs!

What an amazing getaway. My wife and I went for a quick getaway and found this wonderful oasis. The first thing you notice is how calming and quiet this place is. We got checked in and immediately went to the pool for some drinks. We were greeted at the pool bar by Ulises and Ramon ready to make us drinks and food. I felt so pampered being one of a few couples at the resort. The food was delicious (mind you I am not a foodie), but everything tasted really good. We especially like the cubed tuna, fajitas, and the guacamole for lunch. For dinner the fish was always a good choice, and I really enjoyed the rib-eye. The lobster the last night at the Tau beach restaurant was also super delicious. I was a little bummed at first the resort was not right on the beach, but the Tau beach club is like 4 minutes away and the staff takes you over at anytime from 10-5. Beach chairs right on the water and a nice pool to just hear the waves and the occasional vendor passing by. Beny and Erick and all the beach staff were so nice and always took care of any need we had. Kept us filled with tequila and delicious food. At the main resort the live music was always amazing. We basically had a private concert a couple of nights with some amazing musicians. What a wonderful relaxing, recharging experience. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to just relax in quiet solitude (we did go in the off season so it was much less crowded). …

Just had our wedding at Casa Velas and it was an amazing time! The staff are always courteous and so so nice! It was so nice to have a wedding coordinator included in our package to help us with vendors! Sunset views at the beach club were beautiful for the pics! My family and friends all enjoyed their stay at the peaceful Casa Velas and loved partying for our wedding :)

We loved staying at Casa Velas. It is a beautiful resort - small and intimate with a great atmosphere. We loved the pool and pool bar. We also went to Tau beach club a few times. The food at Tau was great and the beach front was so nice to visit. It was a quiet, adults only resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I give 4 stars because the food, while good, was a little boring. The authentic Mexican food was amazing! The other dishes were good but not amazing. We would return and try restaurants at the Grand Velas.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Velas., this small boutique hotel offered a much more authentic and Mexican experience. The entire team of Casa Velas were amazing hosts and we felt so welcome and at home. During our arrival Ana and Sergio were very attentive and informative , they greeted us with a delicious and refreshing maracuya beverage and promply completed our check-in. Then we met Sofia and Anahi at the reception desk. They were very attentive to any need we had. The room was incredibly large and spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. AC worked perfect and our housekeepers Francisca and Dulce kept our room comfortable with clean sheets, crisp towels and stocked mini bar with refreshments and snacks. We were lucky to have a beautiful view over the gardens and we can hear the singning of birds every morning. The pool is incredible big and it has a nice palapa bar where you can order lunch or snacks and favorite beverages. Fredy and Ulises did a superb job taking care of us. We also loved the food at Emiliano's. Chef Hugo Esparza and Chef Ernesto took care of every single detail since I have to follow a special diet. Food was fresh and tasty and couldn't ask for better service offered at Emiliano's Cesar, Fatima, Eduviges, Avalos, Rocio, Omar, Osbaldo, Rodolfo, Jerry, Daniel Borja, Jesus, Miguel, Thank you so much for the incredible service! We had very high temperature days during our visit, but we still loved swimming in the pool and admiring the beautiful views of the golf course, gardens and ponds. Oh and I can't forget all the stunning decor around the property- no matter where in the house you were, there was a beatufiul detail to enjoy.
