The Mercurio is my new home away from home and looking forward to another stay as soon as possible. As from most posts the staff is really the best and I do mean the best. I wont mention names as I know I would miss someone and these guys are all about making the guests request a reality. The place...

I really wanted to recommend this hotel, but I was underwhelmed. On the plus side, the staff is friendly, the location is very convenient to everything going on in PV, they offer a very nice breakfast and the pool area is charming. But my room was a major let down. The bathroom was tiny and cramped. The room was full...

We recently spent a week at Hotel Mercurio. This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta, so we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff was, and how centrally located the hotel is. Upon making our reservation, Gabriel notified us via email that the hotel could arrange for us to be picked...

Thanks so much for your comments! One thing we stress, and that our staff really takes to heart, is that we want every guest's expectations to be exceeded. We're always thinking of ways to make that happen. I think we hit that mark during your visit, and we look forward to your next visit!! Paul Crist Owner

I stayed here in January 2017 for 3 nights. There is good and bad about it, so here goes: The Good: The staff is friendly. Front desk folks are great as well as Jorge the bartender. He's not only friendly but has a wicked memory and knows everyone's orders, tab and names. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. The...

This is a really great place to stay and I would consider staying here again. I had my doubts before I stayed here but to be honest, it was very enjoyable. The atmosphere is very friendly, the staff and the guests are engaging and drinks are pretty good. The pool area is nice, inviting and encourages everyone to mix and...

Definitely consider staying here boys. Perfect location. Great atmosphere. We met so many fast friends. Will certainly return! Some pretty serious construction in the neighborhood which made for early morning noise, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

We have been visiting Puerto Vallarta once or twice yearly for the past ten years. This year we decided to stay for the first time at Hotel Mercurio. This hotel is not what you call fancy but it has the three C's: Cozy, Comfortable and Clean. The front desk staff are always helpful and welcoming, thank you to Gabriel and...

I visit this hotel because of the employees. This is my 9th visit. The rooms are old but I had a room on third floor and it was super clean, except for the one day ,when the usual guy was off. I was there for special Sunday nite events and at the place the waiters keep all the tips, so...

If you're looking for luxury than stay at one of the resorts. This place is simple, convenient, clean and has an awesome staff. The breakfast in the mornings are absolutely great, The bar in the late afternoon and evening is very enjoyable, and on Sundays it's a blast. Is Mercurio a modern boutique hotel? No. But it is clean, comfortable, well equipped and full of character. In an ideal location. Beach less than 5 minutes walk, gay bars less than 10 and 100's of restaurants close by. And the breakfast is unreal! What makes this place stand out though are the people who work there. It is very...
