We recently stayed at the Blue Chairs Resort by the Sea. The location is called "The Romantic Zone" which actually means a Gay area. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there, since all we wanted to do was lie on the beach and eat good food--both of which are minutes from the hotel. The view from our room...

Love love the wait staff and general low key vibe. Comfy for any age or body type. The fact they don't take credit cards is close to a deal breaker tho. It's 2017 boys, your hotel takes them.....time to get with it on that front.

I had been here several years ago and was looking forward to a return visit this Fall. Disappointed ... the property felt very old, run-down, and very "squeezed" by other properties. Might work for others, but I much prefer a less-crowded environment. The chair attendants were cute, and they made sure they were tipped, which I had already done, so...

After reading many reviews I decided to book our 6 days, seven nights here for the Christmas week. Because this was the oldest gay exclusive hotel I thought it would be quite exciting. The BEST part of this hotel is that it is conveniently located across from the beach. From the moment we arrived it became apparent that this place...

This Hotel could be better with some attention to upgrading the rooms and improving the restaurant. I eventually was given a decent room after two moves. Something on the first or second floor would be good, since the elevator is frustrating. The roof top is nice. Take the elevator up to 6th floor and walk up two.

We recently booked a trip to stay at this resort. We paid with a credit card directly online with the hotels website (big mistake). After booking this my card was charged again for the full stay before we had even arrived. I called and they agreed it was a mistake and they would credit the card back. (This is after...

I stayed here years ago, but now it is horrible. I took money lost and moved next door to the Tropicana(exquisite)..or the Mantamar Beach Club(recommended). My view would have been an old falling building.

This place is a mess. Construction is occurring with no overall plan.....they are adding on while it needs to be renovated. It is in need a a complete overhaul. The place is falling apart. Holes every and not clean. The rooftop bar used to be the place to go for the sunset, drinking and performances like drag bingo, drag show...
