Warm and friendly staff. Very clean older Mexican style hotel with the best view in town. Steep hill we walked down easily and just took taxis back. Spanish speaking only but communicated easily with phone translator. Very comfortable firm bed and nicely furnished kitchen. Great restaurants within walking distance and Panorama Restaurant romantic with good food.

This is not a fancy hotel but I really enjoyed my stay here. It does the basics and the views are beautiful. Be advised that this hotel is located on a hill so if you are not fit or have some health issues you might not like walking up and down the area. However all the tourist attractions are within...

After reading reviews, we decided the climb to this hotel would be good exercise and taxis are inexpensive. We stepped into the room and were surprised to find a double bed shoved against the wall, not the King bed we had booked. Asked at the front desk for a room with a King or even a queen but our Spanish...

I would have given it 5 stars but for the noise from the night club below on the Malecon . Mandala,, it runs from 6 in the evening until 6 in the morning pumping out nothing but noise and lots of it !! It is not even music , just a bunch of loud noise . we eventually placed the...

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Suites la Siesta in 2010. Where to start? We were definitely taken by surprise by the number of stairs. We went down and back up at least twice a day. It really didn't seem so bad near the end of our stay. The hotel. The only reason I gave it two stars...

We stayed here back in 7/2010. The view was out of this world and I'm sure it has not changed. To get to the beach you have to walks 1,000 stairs! The first night we were dying! Later our bodies seemed to have gotten used to it. Location is close to everything specially Malecon. Back in that time there was...

I really loved staying at this hotel. Its more of an apartment as it has a kitchen and lounge area, as well as a separate bathroom which was all very spacious, clean and comfortable. The people that work there are awesome and were so friendly and welcoming. They even let me check in early without any issues as I was...

Stayed here at this totally basic but clean hotel from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1st. Pros: - clean (no bugs, critters); good daily clean up - friendly staff (only one English speaking staff) - phenomenal view: outstanding view of the entire Bay - plenty of free drinking water from large plastic bottle - relatively good value - a $5.00 USD...

We recently stayed at this hotel and I must say what a disappointment. They certainly mis-advertise how great it is.. The place was gross. First to be on the 6th floor and no elevator should have been my first clue. Then the broken windows in our room (to keep the bugs out) was a joke. Half of the light bulbs...
