We celebrated our 14th Anniversary at Bocados, and per Juan, selected the 6 course meal made at the discretion of chef Abraham. The meal was excellent, the service was superb, and the experience one to remember.
Garza Blanca is a very clean and professionally run resort about 30 minutes south of the airport. We recently spent a week there over Christmas and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Firstly, the hotel: the main hotel sits next to the beach and has a number of towers with rooms and suites. The hotel expanded and now includes access to the Hotel Mousai and TierraLuna shopping and restaurant area. If you are a guest at Garza Blanca you can access "all areas" via a trolley service. There is a large pool you can use, and part of the beach is roped off for guests to use. There is a nice shallow, sheltered swimming area for kids and the main beach for guest use. There is a small store and a staffed concierge area. The whole hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean which was really appreciated. The staff: The staff are very, very helpful and go out of their way to assist with anything you might need. Francisco with the travel agency can make reservations for any kind of activity and is able to pull strings to get you where you need to go. Dante and Bonnie were very helpful on the concierge desk and would answer text messages when they were off duty to help. Everyone I met went out of their way to help me. The food: There are close to 10 dining options at Garza Blanca and Mousai you can access. In a week I only at the same restaurant twice, because I wanted to! The Italian restaurant on the beach was excellent with tasty food, the steak restaurant has really nice steaks, but my favorite was the Chinese restaurant at Mousai which was absolutely excellent. The pool area has food and drink service which is quick and tasty. If you go all inclusive you won’t pay for any of the meals and is really worth it in my opinion. The room: we were in tower 2 which overlooks the sea. You won’t hear hotel noise and at night all you can hear are the waves! The rooms are huge, and we had a “double room”, which was 2 separate suites that you access by the same entry way. The main room has a full kitchen with washer and dryer. It’s like a home from home. There was daily housekeeping and turn down. The room was cleaned to a spotless standard, and we had lots of extra towels and shampoo etc. Will I go back? Absolutely. It was a totally relaxing vacation and as we went all-inclusive I knew I wouldn’t have a nasty bill for food and drinks at the end. All in all, I thought it was very reasonably priced. They have in house covid tests available for return flights, which was convenient. The views are amazing, service incredible and food is delicious. But the people make it a special vacation. Thank you to all the staff.…
Javier is excellent, works hard for all the guests, and is a pleasure! He circles the pool and beach making sure everyone is safe and happy. Fresh towels, cold drinks, and huge smiles. Garza Blanca is the best because of people like Javier!
Great job and very nice to be around! We really enjoyed the beach and Javier was very attentive, friendly and an overall pleasure to be around. When we come back, we hope Javier will be here to greet us and take care of us!
Javier was awesome!! He made our time on the beach so enjoyable and made great recommendations for experiencing puerto vallarta. The beach is beautiful and the servicenis even better! We will defintely be back!
Javier was very helpful down at the beach and awesome to talk to. Very easy going and pleasant to have around. Gracias Javier. Next time we bring our boys we will be looking out for Javier to make sure he keeps us safe down at the beach!
Amazing! So accommodating and sweet. He truly wanted to ensure the best service during our stay. The resort is beautiful with an incredible view, great food and wonderful service. Don’t think twice about staying here!
The grounds and room are great. But the premium drinks cost us $100 USD per shot. Also, they have one of the worst concierges I've experienced, their job is to sell you a timeshare, not helping you around the hotel, which decimated the whole resort experience. I wouldn't be back.
We had a wonderful time so sad it’s ending! We had a beautiful room that was well kept and stocked by Mariana Lima who was always accommodating with all our needs as well as our turn down service done by Silvia Luna!!!! We had great service from our butlers Felipe, Alejandro, and two others which I don’t have there names bc I lost the card the only thing with the butler service I like it much more at the Garza in Cabo as Tiffany there provided extraordinary service because we were always able to contact her by way of my phone directly to hers so no matter where I was I can contact her but here in PV it’s by the hotel phone extension to them which sometimes was not as easy or available, it was just much more personal service in Cabo. I also missed seeing all the lighted torches that are always lit throughout the restaurants and buildings in Cabo and here they are not which just loses a lot of beautiful ambiance to the resort. The food was good but I have to say Garza in Cabo the food is incredibly better but the cocktails were not!! Here at the Garza PV cocktails are amazing!! Much better than Cabos watered down ones and limited selection! But all in all I would definitely return as the preserve and it’s jungle views are incredible!! PV outside the resort has much to offer too! We love Puerto Vallarta!!…
Great people, great service and food. Dreamy location and a specialized approach to providing an experience of a lifetime. Presentation by Radim Kacirek left nothing to wish for. Professional and caring. Andrea from housekeeping made my room perfect every day and is a very warm and caring person. Deserves a raise.) Thank you so very much!
