The room was on the 2nd floor, with a balcony, facing the ocean, plenty big enough for the two of us to sit and have coffee in the morning, with our smaller dogs. We had a fridge and stove and would have liked a microwave, but we managed. We had to bring our coffee maker, some pots and pans, for... More

We stayed here for 5 years. The reason why is that we had given our rent for 5 years in advance to finish off the last apartment here in the building. Yes, it was finished, but what was not included as indicated in the ads for this place and our understanding was: regular internet service or hot water and sometimes... More

We love going every year ...The owner and her family are like family to me. Even though there was a huge reservation mix up they went beyond to make sure family members first time visit was memorable.

We enjoyed our stay at Stone Island Gardens very much, Gary and Ana were very friendly and accommodating. A few issues first night( I assume it was because room had not been used for a while), next morning we were moved immediately. Food in Carmelita's was very good and probably the best breakfast on the Island, restaurant closed at 6... More

Been there by chance...a small, cosy and natural piece of paradise away from the caotic chaos of the huge and exploited Hotel area of Mazatlan....but close enough to be reachable very fast by boat and at any time.

The Isla is a little treasure - so close to the city and yet rural, relaxed and friendly. We loved our stay at Gary & Anna's hotel. Our rooms were large, airy and very clean, with comfy beds & beautiful ocean views. Gary & Anna helped arrange many extras during our family's stay - transportation, massages, even a chiropractor's visit... More
