This is a great special place to stay, it feels cozy, warm & very friendly. I had been to Mazatlan before, & I stayed in the "Zona Dorada" where most of the tourists stay, but I wanted a different experience, I wanted to be close to historic downtown, Plaza Machado & the Ocean...You have it all within walking distance. Beautiful old world spanish colonial architecture with a very contemporary feel , this was no american chain hotel . Very open with a delicious restaurant and classic wood bar with... More

The new owners of Casa de Legends, and the Innkeeper Joanie, have restored the legend, spirit and soul of the Central Historical district of Mazatlan in their charming, peaceful Bed and Breakfast. The colonial home of the former Mayor of Mazatlan has been transformed into a small 6 room luxury B and B, which is perfect for romantic couple getaways,... More

Both my wife's and my birthdays are within 6 weeks of one another. Her sister surprised us with a two-night stay as a gift. It turned out to be a wonderful experience for both of us. The new management was in on the surprise and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and yes, I will say... More

Casa Leyendas has the ability to make you forget you are in a resort beach town. It's homey feeling takes you back to a colonial Mexico where time is not an issue and a big "cazona" is the hostess to falling in love with a Mazatlan hidden in downtown. if you want a retreat experience and do not mind not...
