Linda and Ray are the perfect hosts! They made fresh breakfast on the daily and always checked in to see if we needed a ride somewhere or a taxi called. The private beach is awesome as is the pool and hot tub. Our room was super cozy and the bed sooo comfy that most mornings we did not get up... More

I stayed for six nights at the end of August 2016, and can't recommend the hotel and the hosts, Ray and Linda highly enough. The property is in pristine condition, and very tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were delicious and always appeared as soon as I came out of my room in the morning. Ray and Linda always had time to chat... More

Best place for absolute relax. Linda and Ray are the best hosts ever. They truly make you feel at home. Breakfasts were superb and different every day. We are definitely going back! Surf's up, the restaurant bar next door, run by their daughter, has fantastic food and drinks. Make sure to try their hamburgers!

Ray and Linda got this place in the sixties, renovated and expanded it since with great taste. Rooms are spacious, beds are heavenly and the showers are turbo powered. Few rooms, tasty home-style cooking for breakfast, and Ray and Linda's generous personalities make you feel at a dreamy version of your home.

El Sol La Vida, a charming adults-only bed-and-breakfast off a dusty dirt road in Nuevo Mazatlan, is a true oasis in the parched, sun-drenched Sinoloan scrubland – and a welcome alternative to the Golden Zone of tourists and high-rise hotels a few miles away. The peaceful, breezy pool area, with its palms and cacti, affords an incomparable unobstructed view of... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks and love everything about it. The owners, Ray and Linda, are just terrific hosts and know how to treat their guests. It is always kept very clean and that includes the grounds, pool, patio and of course, your room. It felt like a private getaway. The kingsize bed made me want to sleep in... More

Excellent bed and breakfast type hotel on the beach. Adults only with 4 rooms. Ray and Linda are great hosts and can help you plan your day if needed. The restaurant next door has excellent food. The rooms are clean and comfortable and all have an outside sitting area.

My husband and I stayed 8 nights at this lovely bed-and-breakfast, family owned and managed. It is located in a remote area right on the beach so it is peaceful and private. The mangement and upkeep was fantastic. The adjoinig café, Surf´s Up, was also run by the daughter who was also the cook - the food was great, reasonably... More

July was humid, hot and raining all in one week. A lighting strike took out the wfi so had no Internet service...to that I say, who care the fun we had in town and the service and hospitality shown us at the resort made this one of the best trips ever. Can't wait to return for another visit.
