We have been coming to this resort for over 13 years and are never disappointed by the service or the people we meet. It may not be a 5 Star luxury resort but many in Mexico are not! It is really about the experience and relaxing! This last week we had a great time at the Castilla Pool with some...

Nice enough, great breakfast buffet and ocean views. Our main gripe is that we chose El Cid mainly based on the fact that their TripAdvisor profile lists airport shuttle and transport among their amenities. This is not the case unless you happen to be a package tourist or a time share member. Our safety concerns were dismissed and then they...

I have stayed at El Cid El Moro many times. It is as familiar as family. It is getting older but still has that family appeal. Renovations are going on now that it is off season. Hopefully it will be returned to a better condition. Staff are always welcoming and pleasant.

We are really enjoying our stay. It's very very humid, but beautiful anyway. The beach in front of the hotel is not very wide, therefore we have not been able to spread out and lay there. The service at the hotel is excellent. Exchange for pesos when you get here. The rate is better. Loving our stay.

“Get a full kitchened unit. Restaurants in the Hotel weren't expensive; but, food was soso. Groceries are nearby...or a 15 minute car ride or Bus to a huge Walmart... Don't poopoo it! They had in house fresh meat and fresh fish. Red Snapper:$4.00 a lb.”

“Rooms were clean, we had a split room with kitchen and lg bath and a hide a bed then the other half was two beds and a lg bath room . Locking door in between the two rooms which worked out great since it was two couples in the room. Had maid service every day. kitchen was pretty well equipped, we ended up not really using the kitchen very much”
