The day I was leaving back home on Sunday July 31,2022 I reported my Louis Vuitton toiletry bag (value$800) missing from the bathroom sink in room 2528. Customer service said they would look at the cameras and contact me on their findings. I have yet to receive a response from them. They would not allow me to take a photo of the written report nor provide a copy of the reported incident documented. This is poor customer service. I spent so much money at this resort. In the end, my property gets stolen. I feel horrible and violated.
Hotel rooms need to be updated. Same stuff on there since 2014 and it’s old and need to be replaced. Chair Coverings dirty, zippers broken and curtains have holes in them. Tubs cracked, toilet dirty and kitchen appliances broken and very nasty. Maid services did not clean proper at all. Convenient yes but not what I was expecting.
I just want to inform that El Cid El Moro is not a Luxury resort/Hotel. It was build in 1985, so the years has pay a toll. They try to keep it in good condition, but is not high end resort. The food is good, but they don't offer a lot of sea food, so don't expect that. The towels need replacement. Hotel personnel do their best, and they are serviceable.
I came to Mazatlan to visit El Cid - El Moro , it’s one or the best place I have visited in the last 5 years. To start Nestor Erick Gomez Gonzalez the person in charged of the luggage he is the greatest person to be around and the funniest every time I see him he makes my day feel better his always happy to do his job. At the counter we had Karen Gutierrez Sarabia help us, one of the best people we met in Mazatlan, more than what we were excepting. I mean more because she did for us more than what we needed. Im very happy with everything from this place. Just to mention that the service at their restaurants where grate. I had the pleasure to meet Jillermo Garcia (Willi)at La Concha Restaurant in El Moro, he is El Capitan ( The Captain) but that man was not doing the work of a Captain he was doing the work of everyone else, he was cleaning, taking people to their table, getting vegetables from the back, bring drink and food for people and being a Captain. He gave so much respect to his workers which he calls his (hijos)kids. Just want to say that this place is the best and this are only a few of all the people that were excessively nice to us.…
good experience in the suite service people in the restaurant and pool excellent excellent dinner in the especial restaurant, japanes and italian restaurant the show nigth is not so good, need to work more,,,nothing good first day not clean the room soon, but the other days very good
Love going to this hotel! Always a great time with great rooms that are cleaned daily. Love the pool and the volleyball area. Food is amazing and there are so many great options to choose from! Definitely recommend!
We always stay at an el cid property when we visit Mazatlan, and this trip at El Moro was the best ever! Staff amazing as always, so warm and attentive. Food top notch at all the on site restaurants. Servers at the pool are the best we've encountered. Their motto is “it’s whatever you like it!” And it’s true. They cater to you. Our room was awesome with a stunning view of the ocean and beach. We loved the mariachi music every night before bedtime. We can’t wait to come back!
Great resort for family with kids. The resort is withing walking to the boardwalk, stores, restaurants, etc., and it provides great customer service. I will definitely go back to this resort, and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
I'm sure the food is good, but we ate at local restaurants for a more authentic flavor, and were very pleased. The pool for adults was very nice and pleasant. Our room was very comfortable, with a separate living room area and two bathrooms.
You have to upgrade your check inn procedures, we were on a Family vacation trip to rest, we were coming all the way from SFO Airport and we were tired. The rooms were already pre-paid so the check in doesn't have to be that long. We are on the digital age, you need to improve the process when receiving people or Family with kids.
