Emilio was great in helping me in my time of need. Very professional and caring. I couldn’t ask for any more than what he gave me. I might have been enjoying myself a little to much but they were there when needed BUT NOT in the way when not required. Always in the shadows so you can have a good and fun time without being intrusive.
Castilla's location is really convenient. It has easy access to El Moro and Granada and of course all of the pools and restaurants, especially the one with the nightly shows. What's great about El Cid is if you stay one of the hotels, you have access to the amenities of all of the others. You might get better views of the sunset from El Moro, but Castilla is still a great stay.
Rooms are very outdated. First two days the a/c in room was not working. You have to pay for wifi and breakfast is not good at all and over priced. No mini fridge in rooms and no free water.//////////
Personnel inattentive and sometimes rude, room always lacking/missing the minimum items as towels, we only once had a full set, when we arrived, I reported every day until the third day when I just went with whatever they left. If you have any issue you have to go to the reception or the issue will be ignored by the staff. Be careful with little detail as they were not accurate from the reservation and staff wouldn’t honor them if you don’t insist, even when you show the reservation email. They treat me as if i were lying. Bad choice for a hotel in Mazatlán I’m pretty sure there must be plenty other better options. (See pictures of some of the towels we received)
Personnel inattentive, poor customer service, poor room service, even with minimal details as towels, never had a complete set. I stop asking after the 3rd day as it was really annoying calling the reception for everything. Not recommended place to stay.
Not the best place to stay in Mazatlan for the price, food and drinks are not the best, installations are old but the beach is good. I rather stay in Riu or Pueblo Bonito next time for a little more money .
The Worst experience. So much people Old hotel We never coudnt reserve for a best restaurant, because Allways busy Only cheap meals Bad music en the swimming pool Not familiar hotel Cero porcent recommended hotel
We stayed here at November 2021.. This was our 3rd stay in 5 years at ElCid with the Elite Golf package. Miranda and her team at the Castilla Elite office gave exceptional service during our 10 stay. The room cleaning staff was terrific. Don't forget to tip them. Checking in at the Golf Pro Shop was seamless and the caddies were professional. The only draw back to our trip was that their seafood selection was diminished compared to our other 2 trips. I would still recommend Elite Golf Package. The ElMoro and Marina ellite offices have the best coffee and pastries.
It is a beautiful resort, however I found it too big. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, polite and pleasant. I found the quality of food acceptable, but expensive. There should be complemented WIFI as there is in other resorts. The location was good, in walking distance to amenities.
It was a very interesting place it has a lot of good things but there some of them that personally don’t like them, but yeah your hotel it’s a good one from Mazatlán Sinaloa Mexico. Greetings and good fellings.
