We returned to the Costa De Oro after a 7 year absence. It was our 3rd stay and we always book a suite in the tower. We were on the 9th floor and had awesome views of the ocean. On our first visit in 2005/2006, we met some great people working the pool. Genado, Pancho, Santos, Lewey and Ramone, who...

Our room was in the older section of the hotel. Everything worked and bed was OK. The décor was very dated with older bedspreads and over splashed paint on trim work. Nice large shower, nice size room, and good AC (much needed). The property best features are the beachfront heated pool, perfect location between the islands, and amazingly close to...

Great location if you want to be near shops and restaurants. Beach is great for walking. Great check in and staff. Rooms are dated...could use new dishes in kitchenettes, new tvs, new pillows. Sound proofing is nonexistent but typical of old hotels. Beautiful views from most rooms of ocean, but you will hear traffic noise or music from bar across...

Good place to stay. On the beach. Everything a gringo needs is just within walking distance or a short ride on a polmania (Mexican style taxi). Get pesos in hotel for no costs in dollar exchange. Went for a wedding on the beach. Awesome

I always enjoy staying here when I visit Mazatlan. It seems to have a warmth that makes you feel at home. The staff is helpful, the rooms kept clean. If you stay in a room with a kitchen, you'll appreciate the ample assortment of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cutlery and dishes. A beautiful pool area too! The first picture is...

Costa de Ora is an older resort but we like older. Everything works fine, every room has a beautiful ocean view, and all staff are friendly & hard working. We have returned here annually for 20 years.

The hotel may need a bit of updating, but you can't beat the view from the balcony. The staff was friendly and receptive to requests. They have a currency exchange inside the hotel and there are banks across the street. We had drinks at the poolside restaurant (Happy Hour is from 1 to 2pm) and ate at the Adobe restaurant....
