Incredible resort, even more incredible people and service. We spend from Mid. Nov. to Mid Jan. here and every day was heaven. Food, sun, fun, activities, fishing.....everything was top notch. Thank you El Cid!

All in all this was a nice place. Our two adult boys did not sleep well all week since the hide a bed and the couch were very hard and uncomfortable. The service was great. The pools and beach access were also very nice. Food is close by and we were able to walk to get dinner every night. they...

I stayed in this resort for a week. When you stay at one, you can visit all of their resorts (El Castilla, El Moro and Granada) in the area. I purchased a discounted rate for the all-inclusive plan, which I really enjoyed. The food at this resort is relatively inexpensive but I must admit that it was really nice to...

The rooms were very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful.Easy access to all the surrounding areas. The other resorts of El Cid were free to get to with the shuttle service. The pool activities were full and well managed by Dante the activity director.

I can rate this resort as excellent. The staff were helpful whenever asked. Especially Hector on the front desk. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Club car was available with just a phone call to take us to our building. Happy hour allowed us to see all the pool/beach area and enjoy inexpensive drinks. The point is a spot...

First off I will say I don't understand how there can be a really bad review of this resort. It's unlikely that everything will be perfect (certainly not the way my life goes) and it's unlikely that everything will go wrong unless you are just having a lot of bad luck that week! Everyone's entitled to their opinion and what...

El Cid Marina Beach is the best of the several El Cid hotels in Mazatlan. The location is just outside of the busy Golden Zone and line up of hotels giving it a feeling of privacy. The marina location and well manicured grounds is visually appealing and there is an ocean front beach. This being said, the best thing about...

Had a great stay at the El Cid Marina Beach Hotel. Our room was always spotless thanks to Lupita. She always had a smile on her face when she greeted us in the hallway. The food was amazing! Thanks to Jose Luis in the restaurant for always finding our large group a great spot in the restaurant. All of the...

I've been to this resort before but each and every time is always the same....awesome. To start the day with amazing breakfast and then carry onto the Calypso pool with Christian and Andrea and Dante entertaining you for as many hours as you are there is awesome. We especially enjoy the black jack at 4:00. Great way to meet people....

“Rooms nearer to 332 - 342 etc are quieter as they minimize traffic noise by being being the old Faro resort. Nearer to the lobby can be a bit noisy at times but the resort is always planing trees to minimize this going forward.”
