If you wish to stay in a hotel right in the middle of the Golden Zone, close to lots of restaurants and good shopping, try the Playa Mazatlán hotel. The rooms are nice and always clean. Fiesta night is great with music and dancing and food. The beach is oe of the best. Restaurant right on the beach.

I stayed in the Pacifica Hotel room which is the penthouse suite. 2 bedrooms living room and kitchen. Your own pool. I stayed 4 days. was very nice. Used mostly by locals. You can eat separate which we did, locals did the buffet. Great host's. Nice beach. Tours available but I was just there to relax. If you want a... More

I have previously stayed at Playa Mazatlan, it has always been a great experience. The only issue i have seen and have been encountering the last few days before I head out to Mazatlan is that the girls at the reservation department (Esther) to be exact is not at all helpful, she is rude and not willing to assist us.... I arrived last week at the Hotel Playa Mazatlán with already high expectations having stayed here several times before. The staff greeted me with "welcome home" and from there it only got better. I ate at all the restaurants on the property and the food was exceptional! The room service and beach service was well above standard and the staff... More

We arrived on a Monday at about 1:20 pm by car and the parking lot was almost full. If you happen to bring your car, make sure to arrive around 12 noon because that’s when people are checking out and there is a good chance that you will find a parking spot or else your car could spend the night... Leave your computer at home. Enjoy the beach which is one of the best in Mazatlan. Besides, the wifi is frustratingly slow. If you need to connect, use your smartphone in a public area as the wifi in the rooms is extremely slow, if it is working. There is supposed to be a LAN line in the room, but good... More

i should be called Playa Disneytlan, ration of 9 kids to 1 adult. Everything is geared to children. The five pools are extremely full of people, rules are not enforced, they go inside without showering, barefoot, with street clothes. There are not rules for the restaurants. The quality has deteriorated because of the "all inclusive" packets. People play their own... More
