We booked Dolphin Cove Inn for three nights in August. When we arrived, we were assigned a room in Building 8, about mid-way down the mountain, which meant we had to climb down 105 steps, and then walk down a narrow, spiral stairway in the building to get to our room. Anyone with any physical limitation is going to have... More

It was an average experience in this hotel. Cons There is no WIFI on the rooms only at common areas. The hotel does not have a very good beach. Breakfast is not that good Very few waiters for the amount of people that were at the hotel. Pros The pool is small but nice The food is actually great after... More

Wonderful resort in Manzanillo Mexico located right on the bay with easy access to swimming and other water sports, we spent our days swimming and sailing, it was magnificent! The water was warm and clear and the breezes were cooling. The resort is beautifully landscaped with lovely tropical flowers everywhere, lining beautiful pathways and stairs. The restaurant is wonderful and... More

My sister messaged me from Colima to tell me that her kids had to leave a different hotel in Manzanillo because they were trying to charge them extra money in addition to what they had already paid on hotels.com, so I had to hurry and find them another place to stay. I called Dolphin Cove Inn and a gal by... More

Like other users have stated, if you have accessibility issues you might want to request special assistance, I know my mom with arthritis definitely would. You have to go uphill or downhill to get from/to the restaurant, pool, Beach area...again, depends on which unit you are staying. We got better views from 9. Views are spectacular though and most units... More

It is not a new hotel but it is very clean and is a very good value for the money yo pay. The view from the balcony is beautiful and you will see the sunrise. It can get quite busy on weekends, at the swimming pool, with mexican families. The wi-fi is not available in the room, it can be... More

Just came back from 8 nights at the Dolphin Cove Inn. After exploring Manzanillo, walking up and down both bays and through the city, I feel confident we stayed in one of the best locations available to rent. DCI is in a superb location on the Santiago Peninsula - very easy to walk to the main boulevard (cut through the... More

Most of the hotel requires many many steps to get anywhere. The pool is nice but then there is no bathroom or change room and again you have to take stairs to get to a bathroom. Why not change one of the many unused rooms by the pool into a bathroom and shower change room?? Breakfast came cold all three... More

I have been travelling to Dolphin Cove to get away from the cold Canadian winter for over 8 years now. This is a boutique hotel - not an all inclusive and we don't want it to EVER to be an all inclusive. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but clean and there is just a "quirky" charm to them.... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was great! The rooms are not fancy, but they were very clean and our balcony was large. Air conditioning was wonderful and quiet. The Paradise Restaurant was a nice surprise! We absolutely loved the chicken curry pasta and the fajitas were excellent too. Compliments to the chef! Lots of stairs so you... More
