Loved this area and resort, it was great.....lots of stairs, and like I'm not kidding about that. Thankfully if you choose there are always trolly's to take you around the resort :)! The Best place for a MASSAGE is in town. She does 90 minutes for 350 pesos, approx 35 US, as compared to 60 US for 60 min at...

We traveled to Las Brisas with my 19 and 16 year old sons as well as dear friends with their two young children (ages 4 and 7). The resort was huge and although their was a lot of walking and hills, a shuttle service was available and we never had to wait long. The rooms were large and bright. Yes,...

agreed with most other reviewers. food: decent selection, decent quality. for some reason, lunch buffet seemed to better, at least to me, than dinner buffet. free wifi available in lobby, also available for $ from room (i believe rate quoted was 10 pesos per hour; no hourly or daily rate available). lots of walking from room to lobby/restaurants, but that...

If you enjoy exercise this is the place for you! Acres of beautiful scenery covered in stairs! If you have ankle, knee, hip, lung, heart or bowel problems this is not the place for you. You have no choice but to walk hundreds of stairs even if you take the shuttles around the resort. But you will walk off the...

Having read many reviews about this resort I find it hard to read the negative reviews again. These people must have either set their expectations to high or simply are very hard to please:) In summary, you cannot beat Las Brisas in terms of out and out value for money. I would go further and say that if you stay...

We stayed at the Las Brisas the week of February 26th and we were very impressed with the resort. Rooms: We stayed in a club room which is in the Mar section room 4311 these rooms are very large but sparsely decorated. The bed was firm which was great for me. The bathroom was very large with a huge shower...

I am, for the most part a positive person...so I will tell you about the "sweet" before the "bitter" The Beaches...are AMAZING!! ~ Not rocky at all and there are 3 on this resort, including a beach that has it's own reef. I had never gone snorkeling and I thought it was a great experience! The a la carte restaurants...

My partner and I have been to Cancun and to the Mayan Riviera twice and we both thought this was the best location of the three. We loved Huatulco - the beaches are wonderful, the people are fabulous, the town is clean and safe, and the weather is amazing! We had highs of 30 (or slightly higher) and lows of...

We went to Las Brisas February 19th for a week and had a wonderful time! The resort is huge, and rugged and natural with yes, many stairs. But we didn't mind that for the exercise and in return got a lot of pictures of beautiful birds, iguanas, trees etc.. there was always a little shuttle passing us within minutes if...

Virtually everyone else at the hotel was a Canadian on an all inclusive package. If you're not on the all inclusive package (we weren't) then drinks and food are very expensive. So we mainly ate in the local town - a 30 peso each way taxi ride away. There are some nice restauarents in the local town, particularly Terra Cotta...
