We went fishing and sightseeing on a boat in Huatulco. We hired a young man by the name of Tino on the beach at the Camino Real Zaashila. He was an excellent guide and his boat was safe with all required to wear life vests. We saw many sea turtles, beautiful bays taht cannot be accessed by cars, and fished....

First visited the Zaachila back in 1997. By then this hotel was at least 5 star in all aspects. Back then the hotel was recognised as a landmark. It was designed by architect Sordo Madaleno (this hotel appers in many architecture related books and reviews).Got back several times until 2001 Now after 8 years and ownership change this hotel is...

We booked this hotel through a travel agent and paid quite a bit for it. We were suppose to receive VIP check in...after 45 minutes of standing in line, I realized everyone is told they get "vip" check in. Our room was not ready although it was suppose to be... we were told that we were to receive a free...

Stayed at Zaashila for 5 nights in April 2009 with husband and 2 year old child. The hotel is nothing special by any stretch of the imagination but is a good reasonable, moderate class hotel. On the plus side, it is onthe beach and you don't have to walk down a hill or take a car to the beach like...

We stayed here from March 14 -22, 2009. It was my husband, myself and our two teenage daughters. We rented a one bedroom condo from the owner. This was our 3rd trip to Huatulco and our 2nd stay at the CRZ. The beach and pool were never crowded and shade was always available. The ocean was really rough the first...

We stayed three nights at the Camino Real Zaashila during a beach trip on the Oaxacan coast. We had been there before but this time I got shocked by the rooms being so outdated. First, at check-in we got assigned a room close to the pool with a very strong cigarettte smell. After about an hour and visiting another two...

My husband and I were in Huatulco April 20-28, 2009. We stayed at the Camino Real Zaashila which had positives and negatives. Negatives were poor service, (our room service trays stayed outside our rooms for up to 2 days attracting birds and ants - even after calling the front desk), the bed was literally as hard as a rock (and...

We stayed at the Camino Real from March 21 through the 28th for spring break. It was a wonderful experience! Many of the other guests were Mexican tourists (and a smattering of Canadiens) which added to the overall experience. I like the fact that the staff, on rare occasions, spoke minimal English. It actually forced me to try and learn...

We decided to stay at the Camino Real resort for our trip this year and were debating whether we should book a standard room through the resort or book one of the privately owned villas within the resort. We found a great site: My Huatulco Vacation - which had a few different private options (1 bdrm, 2 bdrm and 5...

Camino Real Zaashila Huatulco has a unique design, with a Contemporary Mediterranean style; this place submerged in an astonishing natural surrounding, where one can enjoy a swimming pool like no other, 120 meters in length, was sculpted in front of the complex, with a view of the bay and the extensive blue of the Pacific. A masterpiece of the Mexican Architect Javier Sordo Madaleno, (who is one of the most renowned architects worldwide and is specialized in designing tourist projects), who made this dream a reality, and on April 2, 1993 one of the most beautiful beach hotels in Mexico opened its doors.Camino Real Zaashila Huatulco is located in the beautiful Tangolunda Bay, one out of the nine bays of Huatulco in the state of Oaxaca. A hotel embracing the shoreline and boasting an exclusive beach, 25 minutes away from the airport. RESTAURANTS - BEL LA GRILL (Grilled fish): The perfect place to enjoy the breakfast (buffet) with a beautiful bay view. Open from 7:00 - 11:00 H. - BEACH CLUB: Exquisite fresh seafood and snacks.
