We visited the Acapulco Princess for our honeymoon 40 years ago so my husband surprised me with a trip back for our anniversary. I have to admit I was a little nervous as I had heard the safety concerns about Acapulco. I am happy to report that we felt very safe the entire time we were in Acapulco. There were a few issues with the language barrier, not as many speak English as they did years ago, but the staff’s greetings in Spanish and smiles made up for it. I am glad we brought our IPAD so we had a little American TV, otherwise you are stuck with either FOX or CNN, nothing else. The food was very good but fish heavy. ( I am not a big fish eater but my husband loved it) The wait staff was good and tried their best to communicate in English. Our favorite meal was breakfast at the Chula Vista. Marco Antonio was our waiter. He was amazing! He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He spoke English well, and even walked around the buffet with us interpreting. He and his fellow waiter Mario made our experience memorable. Our favorite pool was at the LaPerla with the swim up bar. Victor was the bartender there and was very attentive. I visited the beautiful spa during my stay and had a wonderful massage with Maria DeJesus. Her English was not great but a great massage is a great massage in any language.…
Loved the experience the staff is super helpful. I come back every year. Though some of the facilities are starting to show their age, I am confident that once they finish the renovations it'll be back to be the reference of quality it used to be.
AZUL restaurant! A lovely Mexican cuisine experience in beautiful Acapulco in Iconic Princess Mundo Imperial, I have tried some few dishes of them (Pescadillas, Mole, torta de coco) and almost all of them taste delicious! They have various Mexican food in menu and their bar of alcoholic and non alcohol drink is pretty much complete for different tastes. I appreciate help of Jorge Jimenez In Azul restaurant, he was helping me carefully with my food choice and he recommended me a very tasty drink (mixed of orange and pineapple), which I ordered 2 more! All other staff are pretty professional and kind and it’s easy to understand that you won’t leave the restaurant unhappy. Thank you very much!
We had the most beautiful experience at this hotel. Me and my 3 kids are very grateful for all the kindness we received from everyone here. My kids had lots of fun at the kids club, with ashanty, islen, enriqe, andrea, manuel, sira, fernanda and Sophia. My youngest kid loved Lola the parrot and no doubt our favorite restaurant was tavola, definitely you must try their risotto. Looking for a paradise at Acapulco? You must visit this place
A very nice stay in Princes, Acapulco. One highlight is the very well equipped and maintained gym, run by Balthazar Hernandez. He is a very inspiring gym instructor which differentiates this hotel, and contributes big time why we like the hotel so much and continuously come back!
The sea bass was exquisite. We shared this with pasta and salad. It was very good. Mario and Héctor were very friendly and they anticipated all our needs. The view to the see it’s beautiful. Highly recommended. It was a wonderful experience.
Excelente servicio en zona de alberca. Muy amable. Siempre ofrece algo nuevo de bebidas. Great service in pool area, problem solving person. Always one step ahead in terms of beverages. Ask for him every time you come.
Great hotel. Good rooms. Nice beach. Good prices. The child take care is excellent: Cira, Manuel, Mayci, Agustin, Sydny, Christopher, Aida, Fernanda and Maria are really good with the kids. My daughter and son were happy all the 5 days with them.
As always we had a very pleasant stay at Acapulco Princess. Rooms impeccably clean and very nice. Hotel grounds are amazing. The beach clean and not so crowded as other times. Luz from front desk welcomed us as always, excellent service from her. In valet parking Don Roberto de La Paz took care of our car and baggages with an excellent service. Food and beverages delicious. The new restaurant Azul Gerardo our waitress for many nights gave us excellent food and service. Acapulco Princess is a tradition in Acapulco. We travel 2 times a year since many many years.
Our experience was unfortunately rather disappointing. The lifts didn’t work, you pay for a 5 star hotel, but I don’t think this hotel qualifies. The food and drinks are overpriced but what you get is a very old room, lifts that don’t work and people getting stuck in the elevators for half an hour, extremely long waiting times in the restaurants, etc. Staff is kind but unfortunately unhelpful due to mismanagement.
