Don't go to this hotel. We made reservations in September for December 2023, and we had to cancel our reservations because of the hurricane. After six months, we are still waiting for our full refund. They keep telling us that their systems are still not fully operating, but they do not want to reimburse us for the money they owe us. Horrible experience! I will never pay in advance. This hotel is not honest and does not want to refund our money. Do not make reservations at this hotel!!!!

We had a great time at the Princess Mundo Imperial. Marco at Chula Vista was phenomenal. He is personable and very accommodating to our needs for breakfast. He made our breakfast experience better than any other server there. If you go there for breakfast, ask for Marco and you will not be disappointed.

i have been to many hotels over the years, but never have I experienced anything like the Princess in Acapulco. The worst customer service, and they charge for everything. No important infos given at check-in, they just try to selll you the most expensive package and then let your figure out everything else (where the towels are, the restaurant opening times, the gym, spa, etc). The property is huge and not even a map or explanation of where what is is given at check-in (neither in the room). It’s a beach hotel, but you have to pay 380 pesos to be be allowed to lay under one of their papalas, on an old, very uncomfortable beachchair with no cushion whatsoever = a beach hotel that charges extra for the beach, what a joke! We were there in low season, but were sold the all-inclusive package, praising all the 10 restaurant options they have available at their hotels (Pierre, Palacio, Princess, all of Mundo Imperial, 15 minutes apart by car). It was never mentioned that all besides 1 restaurant per hotel per night will be open in low season. So we paid to have a wide range of choice for our dinner (meat, sushi, italian, etc) but only the mexian restaurant was open in the night. Mind you, they have a card of 10 dishes, of which 5 are not included in the all-inclusive package! If we did not want to eat one of these 5 dishes, we had to go to another hotel or buy something from outside. Even with the all-inclusive package, they charge you 200 pesos for room service. The ‘sub gerente’ named LUZ was the nastiest person I ever encountered in a hotel. No way of resolving anything, very rude and fighting with the guests. Who does that? Clearly no education in customer service. So, stay clear of this hotel if you are trying to relax and have a nice holiday.. no wonder there are no international tourists anymore in Acapulco. Thank you for nothing, Princess!

I was at a medical conference in this hotel, my mistake?? not seeing the previous evaluations..... I had no choice but it was the medical conference here. Upon my arrival everything was fine, I arrived ahead of time because my conference day started at 12 pm but oh surprise, if I wanted my room I would have to pay a modest amount to have access to it and be able to have some breakfast before starting... remembering that check in is at 3 pm (I'm not complaining, it's a business I understand), First stop Restaurant Chula Vista, A "Real contact with Nature" you saw the birds (Crows) eating from the buffet but the staff didn't bother to scare them away... what can I say about the food (No comments) I will only say that I ate fruits, I think an orange juice would do me good..... well to my surprise a juice from Sunny D was very gourmet compared to the one they had There, I don't want to be too demanding but when it says all-inclusive it hits you in the head. The conference facilities 3.5/5, old but definitely in need of renovation, well A/C working Perfect. The staff is always willing to help you and is effective within their possibilities. I will give them 9/5, why? very friendly and always ready. Something funny is that the disco only worked I think from Friday to Sunday until 11 PM.... Again 11 PM, I felt like I was in a nursing home and that they already go to sleep early, when I went I arrived unfortunately at 10:40 PM and they did not attend to the group of friends I went with, the situation was very unpleasant because they made us order in circles (Bartender-Waiter) they never served us the drinks, I would say that on purpose to wait until 11 PM and close (Don't worry my friends, we respect the rules, if they say they close perfectly, we'll leave, but don't look at us like fools), In general, the best restaurant to eat, dinner is Azul, always good service and on time, I rate it 5/5, the desserts are very good. The Italian Good 3.8/5 perhaps my classification is oriented towards first a disaster in taking orders and then lack of time but the flavor saved them. Let's talk about the rooms (please renew, we are in 2023 not 1980) how do you have a room and you have nowhere to keep water at night??? ahh remember again bar and restaurant 11 pm closed (Sleep like grandparents). The cleanliness I can't say that it wasn't optimal 5/5 but the age of the facilities makes you think that they didn't do it but yes. I honestly give it a 2.8/5 being very flexible.

Princess is not ready for a full “all inclusive” experience. It is suffering the pains of the transition. Princess also lacks a reserved beach space for its customers (like others in Playa Diamante). The high point of the stay was Anel - Alvaro that went out of his way to make sure that we were well served and had the best experience

We were visiting Princess Mundo several times in the last 5 years. Service is getting worse, facilities getting older, the slide at the pool is nearly unusable by now. Wheather the rooms are pretty clean, the facilities are really old now and we had mold on the roof in our bathroom. Also the Beachtowels are in a horrible condition. They are stained and dirty. Breakfast is very good as always, Service depends on the waiter you get, we were really lucky once, the other day it wasnt that good. In my opinion, there are many hotels in mexico which are in a better condition and cost less.
