Hotel Los Flamingos, this is the restaurant that time forgot. You're on top of the hill, looking out on a breathtaking view of the ocean from high above, with ancient waiters who've worked there since they were teenagers. It's a living history lesson. Hotel Los Flamingos was the former private hideaway resort of the "Hollywood Gang" led by John Wayne...

We stopped here as part of tour of Acapulco. We did not stay in the hotel. It is the best of old Hollywood who stayed here and apparently was owned by Johnny Weismuller and John Wayne. We tried the Coco Loco - a drink created for John Wayne by two of the waiters who worked here. It is a must...

Although we only had a day to spend at this hotel we could see it was one of the best. Particulary interesting was Johnny Weismullers bungalow and all the photoraphs of the Hollywood stars who have stayed there.

Well another year has come and gone and I must say that this year was the best vacation ever at Los Flamingos. I was able to stay for 3 mos. It was wonderful. The hotel is not modern by any means but it has so much character and ambience that cannot be matched. The employees and the guests of the...

I've stayed here many times over the years. Worth it for the history alone. Johnny Weissmuller fell in love with Acapulco while shooting a Tarzan movie there. He bought this hotel from the original owners in the 40s and started inviting his Hollywood friends, making it the hideaway for the Hollywood Jet Set of the 40s and 50s where the...

The hotel has got one of the most beautiful views in Acapulco. From your balcony you watch the sunsets and feel at ease. The atmosphere still has some of the charm of days gone by with Johnny Weissmüller or John Wayne and the Old Hollywood Gang. Recently it has been renovated and you even have a passable Wifi at your...

Our guide recommended we visit this establishment to experience the history, the view, the sunset and a drink, and we are glad he did. We spent a magical couple of hours on the deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean with friends and a couple of coco loco cocktails dreaming we were some of the many Hollywood celebrities who have sat on...

We have stayed at Grand Hotels all over the world but the Pink Famingo is a delightful addition to those, you see the bathrooms are dated, the coffee table opposite where I am writing my review appears to have a family of termites digesting it, there is no hair dryer or coffee making in the rooms, but there is a...

We came here on a tour of Old Acapulco. The hotel is very nice and the view, breathtaking! It was very interesting to find out about the history and the movie stars that stayed here. Beautiful, secluded grounds and hotel on the cliff. No wonder why Tarzan loved it!

Impeccable view in all times of the day. Miguel was our main hotel front desk manager and we loved him. What a wonderful and helpful man. Our stay was enhanced by the wonderful people here. Martin....our evening waiter....was so gracious and professional....and Miguel!!! Eddie (evening front desk) was also very kind and sweet. Now let's talk about waking up to...
