Las Brisas is a classic in Acapulco, I used to stay there every summer when I was younger, sadly time has passed its toll in the hotel. The views from your villa and private pool is spectacular but the amenities, rooms, closets, tv's, and practically everything seems old and with out maintenance. I went there to re-live some past memories and sadly will probably never go back.
We got hit with the unexpected showers and ended up in this beautiful restaurant. Our host Alejandro was great, he recommended some options and our party of 8 followed them. Best choice I’ve made in Acapulco!
We reserved two rooms with private pools in the hotel, and they were very clean and sanitized. The staff and everyone around the hotel were always wearing masks. It was a very nice escape during this pandemic. The only thing was, the service was awfully slow sometimes. I understand that staff has to be kept low, but sometimes it was ridiculous. At Bella vista we once waited 1 and a half hours for our dinner to arrive ( it was extremely delicious though.)
I had a great experience in a room with a private pool. The view was fantastic, swimming any time you like is fantastic, and there is a restaurant and 24/7 room service. What else could you possibly need?
My husband and I wanted to get away from it all after the lockdown. We thought Las Brisas with its casitas and private pools would be the best option. It was. On arrival, staff are very aware of health protocols for guests, desinfection of pens, facemasks and the lot, for those who are anxious of travelling, fear not, Las Brisas has it under control. We were driven to our casita which had a great view and felt quite secluded. We enjoyed the visits of magpies, woodpeckers and buzzards daily. Our pool was checked and cleaned everyday, as was our room. No flaws. We had a coffee pot with danishes delivered every day and very quietly through the breakfast box. Excellent coffee. We were so comfortable in our casita that we didn't use any of the other amenities, but the beach club is also open and following sanitary restrictions for Covid-19. We would like to thank all the staff for making our stay so lovely given the circumstances. We hope Acapulco recovers from this crisis and becomes again the vibrant place it has always been.…
